I had heard positive review from a family friend and my visit was above and beyond my expectation! Tried their burger and it’s an authentic American burger with good fresh ingredients. The apple pie is also great too!

Delightful! This really is a “people’s” place. Lots of locals. Wonderful selection of pastries and cooked meals for breakfast. Enjoyed a lazy Saturday morning, sitting on the patio, munching on a cheese puff and blueberry hand pie before we were served our egg breakfast. The home fries are so tasty, could have just had those for breakfast! The employees were all friendly and helpful, especially when I had to go back in to order more tasty treats. Hope to swing back by before our vacation ends! Update: we came back. So good!!

Found this place by chance, one of the best little cafe / bakery / restaurants I’ve come across! The pastries and baked goods they have are super good, especially the “cheese puffs” … Had the waffle breakfast with chicken apple sausage and it did not disappoint . Tasted like the syrup was actual real maple syrup. The next time i went I had the lasagna, the pizza, and a salad, all were really good, the ranch on the salad was homemade – really good. Also the service here was great, everyine was SUPER friendly, helpful, and kind… Great place, I will go back when I’m around the area…

With a name like Fatapple’s is got to be good, well…I was wrong it was Great! I left Albany after visiting my old pal Haystack Hicklemeyer over there off Gleason street and saw Fatapple’s on my way home, I saw that name and just had to whip it on in, so I did just that…whipped it on in.

Very friendly cashier. The food was good. Huge pancakes well worth it. They also have a variety of cookies and desserts to offer. The customers consist of a much older retired crowd so it wasn’t loud of overwelming with chatter. It was a very pleasant experience.

I love Fat Apples (amazing bakery and breakfast in the am and I love that they have some wacky pseudo french menu going on for dinner), but what in the Blue Plate Special is this 7 pm closing time? Come on, the Bay Area has the worst night life of any major metropolitan area in America and this kind of stuff is why.

Veronica, a server was very nice. Had the 2 egg breakfast which came with chicken apple sausages & potatoes with request of crispy potatoes & scrambled very hard eggs. Came with cheese puff per my request. Ordered a ranch scramble too, came with requested apple turnover that was huge.

I have been to Fatapple’s for breakfast many times, and there are a lot of selections for brunch menu. I always will add on cheese puff pastry. It is soooo good! However, I went for LUNCH the other day and it was pretty disappointing. We ordered mac and cheese, chicken pot pie, and spaghetti with meatballs. The mac and cheese were okay, the chicken pot pie…was too wet and I do not think it is worth the price. Lastly, the spaghetti…I feel like the meatballs were just defrosted. Overall, this is a SOLID BREAKFAST PLACE. This probably explains the crowd during breakfast instead of lunch.
