I don’t know if it was because I was starving or if this gluten free pizza was actually pretty good. It’s set up for takeout more than dine in. Employees were awesome.

I have been going to this pizza place for years and I changed up my order to have them prepare a pizza with 1/4 pepperoni and 3/4 sausage. Should be easy enough right? I get there and the opposite 3/4 pepperoni and 1/4 sausage. I told him that’s not what I ordered and he told me that was what I ordered. I walked out and thought to myself…I have been coming here for years and they just called me a liar. So, I went back in and told them I wanted a refund and didn’t need the pizza. I told them I have been coming her for years and this is how I am treated? I told them I didn’t need the pizza and all of the sudden the other guy apologized and offered to make another pizza. Seriously, that’s all it took and I was happy again until last night. The female answered and I asked her to look up my past order so there would be no issues and she told me half pepperoni and half sausage and I told her no, it’s 1/4 pepperoni and 3/4 sausage- she handed me over to the other guy who knew me and confirmed the order. I showed up…pizza is perfect and she told me that I can’t order it that way again…only half and half. I was shocked, but took the pizza, thanked her, tipped her and walked out. I will never return again. I was worth about $1k in sales per year to this small business in my neighborhood. I just could not figure out what the big deal was…I guess it was more important for her that I conform to her restrictions than have a regular customer from the neighborhood. Oh well, I’ll find another place.

Loved the wings, especially since they were well done. They’re baked and the size was perfect. With 10 wings, I got full on just 5. The meatball was also delicious and made in house like most of their items. David, the manager, was amazing and I’ll gladly come back.

This is the worst pizza ive ever seen. Old soggy tomatoes, they used CANNED minced garlic and dumped in one spot on the pizza, the crust is cheaper than little ceasers, these guys are not here to make you good food, but to make money off the success dumb enough to try it once. No repeat customers here.

So far, one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had — thin and crispy crust with an incredible aroma. % recommended!

Today I ordered the :
Belmont Special Cauliflower Pizza – tomato, garlic, arugula, goat cheese, and basil.
Aloha Hawaiian Pizza – pineapple, Canadian bacon, and I added mushrooms, olive, and jalapeño.
Everything was super good, nice to have the cauliflower crust option, no complaints, but also no praises. Sauce is good , crust was good , chewy thin like New York style, Even Steven, also, they used canned jalapeño not fresh , and the crust may be pre made , not that there is anything wrong with that ( there totally is ) just an observation , so if you want good pizza and don’t want to think about it then here you go.

The service was excellent. The slice was so yummy .
Just be aware that there isn’t a public restroom here, so go before you come . Next time I’m in Long Beach I’ll be back ☺️!

Had a couple of slices. Extra cheese and basil. Yum! And this yum came about 2 blocks from a nice park with a nice view, so my overall “slices for lunch” experience was outstanding! The crust is thin – not the crunchy kind of thin, the floppy kind of thin. I’ll be back

Mixed feelings here. This was my first time ordering from the Fat Tomato. I felt lazy so I ordered a pizza and salad for delivery. Although I was a bit surprised by the price, $18 for a large pizza from a take-out/delivery place?, I ordered anyway. After checkout, I was presented with an ETA of 70-85 minutes! WTF? Who takes that long to deliver 3 blocks?
After 90 minutes, I decided to call to see what was the delay. I got the usual textbook reply of “oh, the driver just picked it up and should be there within 15 minutes”. Another 15 minutes? I expressed my disappointment and was told they only had one delivery guy and was merely offered an apology and a free soda or dessert (I declined both), I just wanted my pizza!
Finally, the delivery guy showed up, called me from his New Orleans cell phone number, (a number I would normally disregard as SPAM). I was starving by this time and just wanted to eat. I removed the salad from the bag and was disappointed yet again (see pic). However, ending on a good note, the pizza was good!

I finally get a chance to try Fat Tomato Pizza’s Vegan slice, and I like it. The minimum for card use is $5.00. I add two toppings (Garlic and Mushrooms, .45 per topping) to get over the card use limit. The establishment does not have Vegan Garlic Bread, but, adding Garlic to the slice does make parts of the slice taste like Garlic Bread. I think price wise, it’s better to buy an entire pie, Specialty, Vegan wise, than a slice, from this establishment. Good customer service, and quick service in general, in my experience. The establishment has outdoor seating, and takes Samsung Pay.
