A few weeks ago, our neighborhood had a full-day power maintenance.
No electricity. No WiFi. No excuses.
So naturally… we went to the U.S.
I don’t know why, but for some mysterious reason, my kids treat Chick-fil-A like it’s a sacred pilgrimage site. We mostly crossed the border because of it. Not Disneyland. Not outlet shopping. Fried chicken.
We decided not to go too far — just a quick trip to Bellingham. Efficient. Strategic. Focused.
We arrived.
Closed until April.
I have never seen children process betrayal that quickly.
So there we were. In a foreign land. With no electricity at home. And no Chick-fil-A.
This is how survival stories begin.
Out came Google.
We found a random spot with surprisingly amazing reviews. Expectations were cautious. Hope was fragile. Hunger was real.
Then it happened.
Buffalo wings.
Not just buffalo wings — but what I call “the taste of truth” buffalo wings. The kind that doesn’t apologize. The kind that reminds you why sauces were invented. Crispy outside, juicy inside, perfectly balanced heat that says, “Yes, I respect you, but I will also challenge you.”
I’ve been missing that flavor for years. YEARS. And somehow I found it on a random power-outage day in Bellingham.
Everything else? Solid. Fries great. Burgers great. No emotional damage. No surprise seafood pricing. Just honest, glorious fast food.
In the end, we didn’t get Chick-fil-A.
But we found something better.

So I would love to tell you this is just bad, but this is not that story. You know the tale girl orders late night doordash while gaming.Order goes everyone’s happy till 109 am 1/7 26 when driver says store closed. DOORDASH SAYS NO THE STORE IS WAITING WITH FOOD WE WILL SEND ANOTHER DRIVER. WE DO THIS DANCE A TOTAL OF THREE TIMES BEFORE THE DASHER HAS IT CANCELLED. Now its 1040 am and I’m asked who ate my fried oreos and I’m like they never got delivered. So I reorder at 1052 am 1135 food arrives we go to dig in and the food is oddly cold, but that can’t be right they should be hotsince they just opened.Everything is cold (Mozzarella sticks mac cheese fries chicken BBQ sandwich)or not cold enough (shake lukewarm no froth has darkened and lost shake texture). And the dipping sauces are room temp. Marinara probably ok, but ranch that’s a choice. All this to say they delivered last nights order almost 12 hours later with no cause or concern for how to fix issue so your next food poisoning could be from here. I’m sick so good luck with that.
P.s. The owner responded to post: The whole we’re glad you got to speak to the manager had no resolution. He offered nothing and I need all of you to understand a gift card to try again at a later date might of been an option, but what I asked for was that he make sure this never happened again to anyone so I hope he took that seriously though honestly he didnt say very much and didnt seem too concerned. I have a food handler license for OR and I know anything after 3 hours should be tossed so why were they saving it. For funsies; how about just throwing all the food out before you leave and not leaving it on the shelf overnight.

We just ordered through Uber Eats for a burger, fries, onion rings, 2 shakes, and an Andy’s Sandwich. They left a note on the box that they were out of onion rings so they gave us fries instead. My Andy’s Sandwich was just fries and 1 pickle. When I called up the store, the guy sounded irritated that I explained that it was just basically fries in the sandwich and he offered $5 off on the next order or free Oreo bites. I was silent thinking why would I want to order this again?? We didn’t pay $50 dollars for like 3 pounds of French fries.

First time here, the burgers were great. Great seasoning. I was halfway expecting bland and fried but was pleasantly surprised. The fountain Diet Coke was great. Mozzarella sticks were great, onion rings, cheesecake bites. I prob ate my entire daily caloric intake in one meal. Dude who took our order was super awesome, and friendly.

Stopped in to try this place as we had not done so before and it was quite good. No great vegetarian option which it needs but it did provide a lettuce wrapped burger for me or I could have had a gluten free bun. My veggie daughter had a multi deep fried item option which was tasty but had mega calories. They have half and full size options which is good. The cheese fries were very good

Prices were on point with the single patty burger coming in under $8. Make it a double patty for $3 more. If you’re really hungry you can do a triple.
Combo up any burger by adding a side and a fountain pop. They have fries, cheese fries and onion rings.
Default toppings are tomato, lettuce, onions, pickles.
Our only minor complaint was that the patties seemed slightly over salted. Other than that everything was fantastic. Would eat here again for sure.

We are from Canada, and we saw it online and had to go check it out. The food was really good. The onion rings were some of the best onion rings that we have ever had. The burger was really delicious. The patty had a very good smoky barbeque flavor. Normally there tomato isn’t quite so thick, and it’s a good thing to because it did kind of overwhelmed the flavour a bit. The fat shack sandwich was not quite our flavor, but it was quite delicious. And the wings my husband said were really good. They had a crispy texture to them that seriously made, the flavour really good, and helps the hot sauce have a different depth of flavour to it. Definitely would recommend this place to anybody that just wants a good burger and a decent atmosphere as well. The staff were polite and knowledgeable.

Everything was perfect and really good for fast food. Was hesitant to go because of the low reviews but it was right next to where my husband got his hair cut. This will be a regular stop for us. Yes it kind of looks like a hole in the wall but man it was good. Philly was 11/10 never had anything close to it on the west coast before. Burger was cooked perfectly. Side note you guys should play some music in there it was so quiet

AMAZING!!! Eric and Luis were so awesome. Helpful and kind, they helped me figure out what to get off their expansive menu. Was super delicious and made with a lot of care. The burger was perfect and I’ve never had fries that good literally anywhere. 10/10 highly recommend and will be coming back any time i pass through bellingham! Thanks boys! PS, get the strawberry milkshake you won’t regret it!

My husband and I took our son and granddaughter to the Bellingham location for dinner on 11/9/25. The food was delicious and the 2 people working the counter were very friendly and helpful. However, shortly after we got our food another employee came into the restaurant and all hell seemed to break loose. I’m not sure what they were arguing about but f-bombs were flying and all three of them were yelling at each other. At one point the other gal that came in yelled “you’re fired”. There were at least 4 other customers including and young girl of about 7 or 8. Maybe they were joking but we found it very awkward and unprofessional. We won’t be returning.
