Walked in and ordered at the counter a classic burger with onion rings. Inside decor was of a typical burger joint. I looked for a clean table but couldn’t find one, so I wiped one down and seated myself. My order was delivered to my table hot and ready to eat. The burger and onion rings were definitely tasty. My observation as I was eating was that It looked like only one person was running shop. Overall I enjoyed eating here with the exception of the tables not being clean.

Came from across the street because the photos of food looked good.
No one else was there which kinda shocked me because it looked so clean and nice inside with nice music playing and TVs everywhere.
I didnt know what to order so I asked the person working and they gave me a recommendation and were super nice about it.
Best Burger ive probably ever had and came out relatively fast or at a speed I was happy with. Totally recommend

Got their classic burger, fries and a drink. The burger was cooked well and juicy. Fries were hot and yummy. Good serving sizes. Only waiting 5 minutes for food. Seems like though there’s just one guy running the joint, taking orders and cooking. Don’t let that deter you though. I’ll be back to try the other options.

First time eating at Fat Shack after driving by it many times. It was pretty good! The burger was pretty decent, but the fries were some of the best I’ve had. They brought out chilled ketchup and that paired with the fries was a terrific combo! The place was empty other than the one person working there (seems to be a common occurrence according to other reviews). Will be back.

We tried the Fat Doobie which said “most popular” on the menu & the Fat Broncho. During the early afternoon it was very dead in there, as I’m sure this is more a night time business. Their food would 10/10 sober you up after a fun night. The Fat Doobie had some of the best honey mustard sauce and I understand its popularity. The Fat Broncho was disappointing due to the marinara sauce being bland and cheap tasting. It really brought down the whole sandwich. I also recommend only getting the sandwich bc adding fries to make it a meal is a $4 up charge and you barely get any. The sandwich alone WILL fill you up. We spent $43 for the 2 meals you see in the photos. I think it would have been around a reasonable $30 if we wouldn’t have made them meals. Just something to note since this location is in a college area. I would visit again to try some of their dessert options such as fried Oreos & fried cheesecake, as well as the sandwich actually featured on the show. Worth trying! Recommend at least going once.

Well I will say this place sucks. I was so hyped about trying it and the food tastes like it was in a freeze for a year & undercooked as you can get. My chicken was still chirppin when I got my sandwich. Also if you order online the mozzarella sticks say they come with marinara. I trusted it, I was wrong to do so since I did not get marinara with mine. The only good thing that came was my dr.pepper, its hard to mess that up.

First of all it was just 1 person working. So service was slow, felt bad for the worker. The wings were the best thing, but there weren’t great. I also got the fat sack sandwich, that wasn’t good at all! Tast like cold fried food microwaved!! Maybe give a 2nd chance if it’s still there year from now and I forgot what I got.

I was just not impressed. Don’t know what I was hoping for, but it took nearly 30 minutes to get my order, yet the place was empty. For the food — it was okay, but nothing amazing. Seemed sloppy and just meh. Don’t think I will be going back anytime soon.

Wednesday afternoon, only one person doing everything! There was a group ahead of us. Our order was taken and we sat down. The restaurant was clean and orderly. Great music playing in background, not to loud. Little League College World Series on one TV and the other was educational entertainment with some questions to engage students (we homeschool our 3 sons). I watched the young man who was doing everything just flow from one thing to the next. He stayed calm, was very courteous and focused! He brought out our food, remembering who ordered each meal, apologized for the delay, offered us condiments, etc. Our order was perfect, exactly what we ordered. It was fresh and excellent!!! My wife is an excellent cook! My sons are picky and it is hard to find a place to eat where the food is prepared and served with the kind of care my wife puts into it, if that makes sense? This young man hit a home run all the way!!! We live an hour and a half away from this restaurant! We drove out of our way to go there for lunch and we will DEFINITELY go back. The food was great, the portions were large and for the price and service and peaceful atmosphere it was a really great value!!!
