Disco! Your kind of spot dear friend. Soft shell crab? No, but a burger so messy, change your shirt. Some interesting revues out there.
Did not order a signature, just off Dr Chang and the stomach a little ripe.
Went west coast 2x smash. 4Sho! Pricey? A bit. Next to in-n-out check. Staff very kind.

I’ve eaten at this place before but this is the first time I actually went to the location to eat it. If you are planning on eating this, I suggest you either come with a big appetite, plan on sharing/saving it or need some hang over food.

The sandwich is a regular size, but with all the fatty food in the sandwich makes it hard to finish in one seating (for me). I ordered a Fat Bruin because I couldn’t make a decision between a sandwich and smashed burgers so might as well get all in one. The only thing that was disappointing about the sandwich is that with all the ingredients in there, I couldn’t really taste the individual ingredients as they all started to blend together.

Service wise, there is only one window to order from so there is only one line. The wait was about 10-15 minutes we had time to go to the outdoor seating area to grab seats. There’s enough room for probably 6 different parties.

Parking may be difficult depending on when you come here but we luckily found some across the street.

Great service but the Fat Jerry sandwich was disappointing. Way too much sauces. Basically jammed 6 different things into a nice tasting sub roll, but it was a gooey mess.
Just wasn’t my thing I guess.

Fat Sal’s is a go-to spot for over-the-top, mouthwatering sandwiches that are as creative as they are delicious. The portions are massive, and the combinations are wild—perfect for satisfying a big appetite or a late-night craving. The Fat Texas BBQ and Fat Buffalo are personal favorites, packed with flavor and enough to keep you full for hours.

The vibe is fun and casual, making it a great hangout spot near UCLA. That said, it can get pretty crowded, especially during peak hours, and seating is limited, so finding a spot to eat can be tricky. Also, the prices are on the higher side, but the quality and portion sizes make it worth it.

If you’re in the mood for a messy, indulgent sandwich, Fat Sal’s is the place to be. It’s not an everyday spot, but it’s a treat you’ll remember!

I’ve been going to Fat Sal’s and specifically this branch for 10 years. It used to always be so good even though it was a little pricier than other fast foods the quality and quantity was always amazing. Having gone here again over the last couple of months I can say there has been a major reduction in quality where I’ve felt physically bad after eating, and this is while the price of their sandwiches have also increased a lot. Looks like they are counting only on their name now but doubt it will last long with the current state…

If you’re looking for dainty bites and light portions, Fat Sal’s Deli isn’t the place for you. This spot is for the bold, the hungry, and the unapologetic food lovers who crave flavor-packed, over-the-top sandwiches that push the limits. From the moment you hear the name “Fat Sal’s,” you know you’re in for a challenge—and you’ll love every messy, delicious second of it.

Forget the white tablecloths and delicate plating. This isn’t about fine dining—it’s about real, hearty food served with attitude. Their sandwiches are stacked high with everything from mozzarella sticks and onion rings to pastrami and chicken fingers—all in one bite. It’s outrageous in the best possible way.

At Fat Sal’s, food is more than a meal—it’s an experience. Every order dares you to go big or go home, and the portions live up to the hype. Whether you’re nursing a monster craving or just want to indulge without holding back, this deli delivers every single time. It’s not just a sandwich shop—it’s a rite of passage for anyone who considers themselves a true eater. Come hungry, leave victorious.

I’ve been working in the restaurant business and have organized large orders in multiple states for a couple years now. Can confirm this was the best place to order from whether it be the food, organization, or most importantly the staff! Extremely generous staff and very accommodating!

I can’t understand how people pass up this gem to wait in a line at In and Out but you’re COMPLETELY missing out on this food. I got the bacon cheeseburger fries and my whole meal was in one container and it was DELICIOUS! Not much by way of seating but if you’re lucky enough to get there when they first open and sit then do it.

I had the fax texas and with what goes inside it can never be not good. But honestly even half of it is too much for me so I had tons of leftovers.
