This is easily one of my favorite places to come eat and enjoy some delicious drinks. Every time I come to Fat Rosie’s, it’s always an amazing experience.
This time I ordered three tacos — one shrimp, one al pastor, and one carne asada — and my boyfriend got some quesabirrias and an al pastor taco.
My favorite is always the carne asada one, but the al pastor and the shrimp are absolutely delicious too. The quesabirrias are insane — I tried them and they were spectacular.
And obviously, I always, always, always order a mango margarita because they’re simply incredible.
I always come back and leave super happy from this place. It’s a 20/10

Ate here for the first time today, I wasn’t even aware it was their grand reopening! Arrived about 12:30pm and was seated within 10 minutes (I could have sat earlier at a high top table). Service was quick and knowledgeable of the menu and specials, didn’t seemed rushed when I asked questions. I tried their house margarita, besides its large portion it was delicious! I tried the chicken tamales for the first time and they were full of flavor! Staff walking by were quick to check in and even the manager stopped by to see how our table was fairing. Overall a great experience and I will be returning if I’m ever in the area again.

We had a really great celebration lunch. Elvis was a fabulous server and brought so much excitement and enthusiasm to everything. Some of the drinks were really small and pricy ( old fashioned) but everything was delicious! The guac, the salsa, the Pollo Chipotle, the tacos, were all on point. The quesabirilla tacos weren’t the best I’ve had but they were good. Definitely coming back!

If you’re reading this, I’ll assume that you must be a person that likes Mexican food. I relate. This however, is ordinary Mexican. I’ve been to three different locations and have been blown away at each. This is the best Mexican I’ve ever had. My favorite order is Tampiquena.

I cannot say enough good things about our experience at Fat Rosie’s! The atmosphere is so fun, the staff members are all so friendly and personable, and the food is excellent! We ordered guacamole (highly recommend) before our dinner and it was delicious. Our meals were incredible too- everything was cooked to perfection and presented beautifully. It was my friend’s birthday so the server recommended the flour-less chocolate cake- it was DECADENT! Not too sweet, not too rich, just perfect. I highly recommend this restaurant!

Doris was extremely helpful, and honestly the entire staff was amazing. We had a great time celebrating foxy birthday. Fat Rosie’s food is always on point—I’ve been here quite a few times and I really love how consistent everything is. That consistency keeps me coming back, and I’ll definitely be back again.

Fat Rosie’s has a fun, lively atmosphere and the decor is definitely eye-catching, with colorful murals and a generally energetic vibe. The service was decent, our server was friendly and attentive. The food was a bit hit-or-miss. I didn’t try any drinks, but they have a whole tequila bar, so that could be fun if you’re into that. Overall, it’s a decent place for a casual night out with friends, but don’t expect anything mind-blowing in terms of the food.
