Here’s the skinny. On fat pig BBQ, I made a 50 minute trip to try it cause it was a 4.6 Google rating. I kinda get it. But this is what it is. Pulled pork is good but dry, the ribs are good the chicken is good. The drumstick was the size of a turkey leg wow.. But its there BBQ sauce that makes the good not the meats.. there sauce is really good not great but really good. The cornbread while you get a giant piece, its average at best. It wasn’t moist very dry. The potato salad is canned not homemade,,,rrrrrr. The coleslaw was okay canned im sure. The piece of corn was day old. And you get a dinner roll out of the box. Staff was super fantastic. And super polite. Atmosphere was ok. Hole in the wall with 4 tables. Anyway. I will try another BBQ place next time. Sorry about my pictures, I was hungry and started eating.

Happened across fat pig while in the area and decided to stop with my son for some lunch.
Frankly I was quite disappointed. I got the large pulled pork plate and a couple extra ribs. The pork was pretty dry and really didnt taste barbecued. The ribs were meaty and tender but were pretty overcooked. Both were covered in bbq sauce and the sauce was really good.
The sides were more disappointing. Roll came out of a bag. Coleslaw was soggy and flavorless and my beans were cold. Flavor on the beans was good but cold isn’t what I was looking for.
Portions were good and had the food been better it would have been a great deal. Staff member was not exactly enthusiastic but she wasnt rude or anything. Atmosphere has a certain charm.
Overall I was disappointed with fat pig and probably won’t be back. There were some positive things but just not enough for me.

We ordered takeout, and the food arrived quickly, cheap and fast. The beans were excellent, and the corn and coleslaw delicious. For the meat, all of it had great flavor, and the BBQ sauce was absolutely amazing. The portions were enormous! The pork ribs were a bit dry, but tasted good. The chicken was tender, moist abd delicious. We are planning to try the pulled pork on our next order.

The atmosphere really tanks this restaurant in terms of dining in. But get food to go because the food is good. It’s also pretty affordable for King County prices. It is in the middle of suburbia not near a lot of other things. Barbecue sandwich was really good cornbread was a little disappointing pretty dry.

Certainly a good value for the dollar. It certainly is that any type of fantasy barbecue, however, it’s decent.

If you eat here during the winter, it is a bit cold inside. However the food will more than make up for it. The meat practically falls off the ribs. They were cooked perfectly. Normally sides are just a filler but the beans and coleslaw were outstanding. The beans were pleasantly thick with a great taste. This was our first time and the location is out of the way and looks unassuming but you are really missing out if you don’t try this place.

Things that this restaurant does well: the ribs, specifically the char on the ribs. I think they excel in chicken/ribs as they are strongest menu items. Portion wise, they are good, and the flavor was well executed. Not the best I’ve ever had, but definitely meets your barbecue craving.
This restaurant can work on a more friendly and clean bathroom, more availability of sauces to share in between tables, and a bit more attention to Customer Service. Nothing was incredibly wrong, but nothing was incredibly impressive.

You’re looking at the remains of a large combo: two ribs and a thigh barbecued over a fire, corn on the cob, beans and potato salad and a roll. You should tear off an extra paper towel or two before you start. This was yummy.

Fat Pig is a BBQ place in a little building a few minutes away from town. Parking here is OK since there’s not many other businesses right here that get busy. They have a few tables inside but most people get takeout. Their menu isn’t huge but they have good flavor. They’re very friendly here, pretty quick with food, and provide great service. The prices are cheap for the portion size which makes it a great deal. The food itself is delicious, juicy and tender, especially the chicken and the ribs.

Stopped here for lunch going from Olympic National Park to North Cascades and glad we did! The food was great and the prices were very reasonable . The pulled pork was so tender and juicy. The cornbread was a huge piece. The owner was really nice and friendly, we loved chatting with him while we had our lunch.
