Great food and drink options, if you come here you should most definitely try their sweet and spicy burger it’s delicious and there’s two workers named Holly and Lindsey they are very friendly and hardworking servers most definitely will come back here again if I’m in Lafayette

I’ve eaten at Fat Pats on Verot School road for years. It’s always been good food and good service. I went there this past Friday night. The bar was full and there were maybe 4 other tables. They weren’t busy at all. My date and I both ordered sweet tea. We received unsweetened tea.no big deal I asked the waitress if this was sweet tea she tells me yes it’s just not very sweet. (They usually have really good sweet tea) So I asked for a coke and my date asked for a Dr Pepper. Both tasted weird. No big deal. We ordered our food, I ordered the ultimate nachos w pulled pork and sweet chili sauce, he ordered shrimp plate w a side salad and fries. About 25 min passes the waitress stops by the table and said you had nachos right? (They hadn’t even started our food 30 min in) I said yes she then asked me what kind of nachos did I order. I told her she said good thing I asked and walks off. About 15 mins passed (45 min since we ordered) we order some fried pickles bc we are pretty hungry at this point. She Apologizes for the wait and says they have a lot of DoorDash orders. We told her that we only wanted the pickles if we could get them before the food. She said not a problem they are considered an appetizer. (keep in mind so are the nachos) About 15 more minutes pass and she brings my date his plate. The french fries are cold and the shrimp were lukewarm She then brings a salad asked him for the third time what kind of dressing he had ordered then brings the pickles. (The pickles we wanted as an appetizer) We’re sitting there another 10 to 15 minutes passes then she brings my nachos. The plate was hot, but the food wasn’t. I had to ask for sour cream and the plate that usually comes with it with the lettuce and tomatoes. There’s this weird chili all over the nachos. I’ve ordered these nachos 100 times before they’ve never had that weird chili all over them. At this point, we had waited an hour and 10+ minutes to get all of our food. We ended up eating a little bit of it and getting go boxes. I’m pretty much wasted $70 on food that we didn’t even eat. It’s a damn shame. I’ve always loved Fat Pats. I hate to say it, but if this is how they do Business now they’re not gonna be around much longer.

Wanted to check it out to see if it was as good as the Broussard location. It totally was. Our waitress, Brittany, was awesome! Energetic, attentive, and got everything correct. First, we got the fried pickle appetizer, and then I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich and added grilled onions with fries. The bun for the sandwich was SO GOOD! My husband got the grilled chicken wrap, added spicy Buffalo sauce, and had fries. I enjoyed the 2for1 house margaritas on the rocks. I’m just disappointed I didn’t have enough room for dessert (my favorite part)! It was nice and quiet in the restaurant, didn’t have a lot of people, guessing because it was Tuesday! Definitely will be back soon, even if it is just for dessert and a tipsy shake!

The person that took the to go order, Brittany, spoke so fast and unclear. It came across as very rude and as if she didn’t want to deal with orders. I had to ask her to speak again as I couldn’t make out what she was saying. Food was good. Fries were lukewarm and no ketchup given.

Our waitress was alone but did a great job. Attentive and friendly. The hamburger was good. The fries were good but not special. most seating were booths and tall tables. There were plenty of TVs. The place is not spacious but cozy.

I was a little disappointed because we spent $75 for some just okay seafood and adult beverages. My family shared that they always get burgers and never knew they served other items. My hubs enjoyed his fried fish and grill shrimp. My food lacked flavor and my shrimp was over cooked. I will go back just to try the burger that had my SIL dancing in her stool.

Food was amazing!! Appetizers were larger than I remembered!! Lots of leftovers to go!! Burgers were fantastic per usual!! My absolute favorite Burger place in Lafayette!!!!

The guy next to me was eerily quiet when the food came out. he sat there in silence and cleared his entire plate without interruption. Food and service was immaculate, as always! I highly recommend the shrimp wrap grilled! I did the review after we ate so sorry the picture is just empty plates

Food is decent. However, too many times this location has terribly slow and unresponsive service. Long wait times just to order food, receive order, get bill addressed. Why am I watching the staff watch a football game when we are ready to order, etc. won’t be back to this location anymore. Empty and still slow.
