We love this place. Fun atmosphere to eat at and feels like the staff enjoys being there. Always upbeat, tunes pumping from the line.

One of the stars of the menu is the homemade red salsa and the avocado verde. The salsa is ultra chunky and delicious. Great flavor with a slight spicy edge. The avocado verde is fire. Spicy as all get out. It’ll bite back.

The pancakes are amazing. Fluffy middle, nice crispy edges. Sweetness cooked right into them. They don’t need syrup. A little butter and good to go.

The huevos rancheros con papas favorito is a great balance of breakfast and southwest Tex mex combined. Eggs, carnitas and beans on a crispy corn tortilla. So damn tasty.

The American fries (potatoes.) Mind blowing. Wedge cut baby reds, cooked on the flattop with green onions and other aromatics. Baby. These things are a meal on their own. Paired with eggs, .

Never disappointed. Jeff, the owner works the line, serves at the counter and is always around. Very nice and clearly his employees like working for him. These are the businesses I thoroughly love giving business to.

My daughter and I decided to try this place one weekend morning. We ended up going at one of the busiest times the place was hustling and the service was great. My daughter ordered Fat Nats slider and I ordered the Florentine omelette both were incredibly good. The food was hot and fresh and the young lady took care of our table was great.

Food was delicious just got a bit surprised with the spicy avocado. A little bland but nothing salt and pepper can’t fix. Good for diner food and yummy. Waitress was nice and very attentive and portions were huge.

Portions are large and looked good, but no way does this place rate 4.6 stars. More like 3.5 stars. The guacamole was either from a can or two days old. Potatos were undercooked. It’s a large place, so seats many people, but there are only single occupancy restrooms, one each for men and one for women. They don’t like substitutions.

Awesome old-school diner vibe and great food to match. The apple fritter French toast is incredible and definitely worth ordering. My kids (5 and 3) are obsessed. Been there twice now and both times were perfect, so we’ll definitely be back.

Nothing short of the best breakfast I’ve had in a couple of years. Our server was fantastic, funny, and a stand out gal. The food was truly wonderful. A fine balance of that greasy and great morning food to get you through the day. But I cannot overstate how wonderful our server was.

Fat Nat will treat you right!

I have not been here for a long time and everything was so bad that I actually googled to see if it was under new ownership. I never post negative reviews, but this is the my first exception. Most of our food was overcooked or burnt. I often frequent ethnic restaurants by choice, but do not remember their menu be so culturally focused.

I cant say enough about this place for its great food and service. If I owned a restaurant this crew would be a model of great service and well managed kitchen. Its very rare anymore to find staff that has smiles on their faces and appear to have fun waiting on customers. I love the Hot Beef and the wife loves the omelets. Best place in town for breakfast. Keep up the great work, wait times are very short, portions large and costs fair.

Favorite breakfast place in the twin cities! Ridiculous portions! I normally get The Elmer, which is pictured in the bottom. I get the blueberry pancakes. I can never finish the food. Food always comes out super fast! Highly recommend.

First time going here with a friend because they said the pancakes were good so I had high hopes. As we entered the building, we were nicely greeted. There was a sign that said to seat ourselves and so we did just to be told to move. So we sat and then saw that later on two people had sat where we sat with no problem. Didn’t think much whatever. Then we ordered our food and as I was about to take another bite, there was a strand of hair. They had taken my food and made me another. But I had already lost an appetite at that point. Then as we were already about to be done, the young lady had given a little attitude. And workers had given stares, not sure if it was because of the hair complaint or because I had lost an appetite. Also, we were given the wrong receipt and almost paid 3x the amount so always check.
