Overall, it was a great experience. The food was nicely prepared and presented. The vegetarian appetizer options were creative and tasty. The main courses were portioned into a good amount of food. The pork belly, along with everything else, was delicious. We went with a party of five. It’s a great place for a party of five or a date night for two. If you go, make sure to say ‘Hi’ to my favorite new best friend, Sam, who manages both locations.

I got the pork belly bowl and it was like I was transported to a magical universe of flavorful freshness. 10/10, Fat Kitty will bring me back to Multnomah Village. Good music, relaxed vibes, wine, easy self checkout via QR code. Honestly the best pork belly.

This place has received tons of media hype so I was excited. The garlic and ginger edamame was really yummy! But I didn’t like the thick cut pork belly. I felt like I was eating Christmas ham slabs, and the ridged texture on the side was gross. I suppose that opinion comes down to personal preference, however, afterward both my friend and I had a bad acute stomach reaction. In the rare occasion that happens, I have no choice but to rate a restaurant one star.

Such a great night with amazing food and a great atmosphere! The Ramen was amazing! The pork belly and egg melted on the spoon and everything was so well balanced.

Had a Niku Miso (ground pork) bowl for lunch the first time I ate here and it was excellent. It had half rice and half greens, with 3 vegetable toppings and ponzu sauce. All these choices are options.
They have sake cups, beer, wine, soft drinks. Very attentive service and a relaxed vibe make this a great place to go and I’m looking forward to returning to try the noodles.
Overall, not fancy but oishii (yummy) and friendly.

The ramen wasn’t actually bad. Decent sesame vegan broth but at $16 it shouldn’t cost extra to have some kind of protein. Ramen is an incredibly cheap and easy to batch food. My $3 soft boiled egg was undercooked (whites were still runny). The tots were ok (also expensive for what they are). Service was ok to us, but the server was clearly annoyed with their coworker and took it out on another patron asking a question. All in all, not a terrible meal but for the price I’d expect a great one.

This restaurant has to be the best atmosphere in all of Portland. We had the honor of meeting, Zoe, who has some of the BEST customer service we’ve ever had (and we lived in Japan for five years)! Please give your staff a RAISE because they are KILLING IT.

This place certainly provided the goods, service was smooth and the food was dialed! The spicy miso is the one that I will forever remember and order without fail. If you are in the area or willing to make a little trip to the Village this is a great spot for a meal!

Noodles are fantastic. Soup options pretty good. I had the vegetarian curry, but would probably do the pork belly next time. Starter plates were super.
