Just tried this BBQ and I will definitely be back. I don’t know about anyone else’s experience here, but the food I got today was phenomenal! The decor was beautiful, clean, and homey. This place is wheelchair accessible! To the naked eye, the menu can seem a little pricey and I waited about 15 minutes for my food, but it was well worth it. I ordered a chicken sandwich and my husband got the brisket sandwich. Everything was juicy and fresh. The sauces are spot-on. Fries were crisp even with cheese and nothing was salty (to my surprise). I substituted fries for smashed potatoes and gravy and really enjoyed it. Be prepared to use lots of napkins and you will get messy.. but it’s so good! I will bring my kids next time.

UNPROFESSIONAL MANAGEMENT POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. Many years I’ve been reviewing for google I have never had this happen.
To be fair the meat is ok. The sides are a joke. I can make blue box mac and cheese myself. Seriously that’s what I got blue box mac and cheese with some shredded cheese on it. Just look at that cheese, it speaks for itself. The fact the manager got irate when I suggested this makes me think it is true.
Then to make things worse I had to get my ID to pay, this is a violation of the merchant agreement and a violation of my privacy. The reason is now that employee has my card number, my license number, birthday and address. Enough to fraud my card. It’s not protection for you IT PUTS YOU AT HIGHER risk. I am contacting VISA to complain so they will stop. They clearly state you may not require ID.
“A Merchant may request cardholder identification in a face-to-face environment. If the name on the identification does not match the name on the card, the merchant may decide whether to accept the card. If the cardholder does not have, or is unwilling to present, cardholder identification, the merchant should honor the card if they have obtained proof of card presence, a valid authorization, and a valid signature or PIN.
I would never eat here again. Shame is the one in Philadelphia is pretty good. But I think I’ll stay clear of them too.
When I called to talk to them about this they told me I am wrong, cursed at me, then said I am threatening them! “we don’t need your business” I have never met someone so rude. They kept asking who I am and wanted me to come into the store so we can talk. I didn’t get the feeling they were going to give me a tour or ask my opinion. A good business would have compensated me if I did not like something or made me something else. These folks completely denied anything I said. They even said they would have my review removed, good luck because google will not do that. I am a level 7 local guide, I have photos that are over a million likes besides a 140 honest reviews and 270 photos. I know the policy about reviews and adhere to it strictly.

Always get the Georgia Pulled Pork sandwich and it’s delicious. My husband always gets the spicy twister and enjoys it as well. We also buy their dry rub they sell. It’s great on ribs, burgers, ny strip basically everything!

UPDATE: In response to the restaurant – Grubhub did action a refund for me, however, they also informed me that it is the responsibility of the restaurant to call and inform them of any closures outside of regular business hours to avoid these transactions going through.
Ordered via Grubhub October 3rd, received a text to confirm my order was being processed as well as an email. Arrived at the restaurant to pickup my order and was faced with a closed notice for today. My credit card was charged and I am not able to contact the restaurant for a refund because it’s closed!
It should not be possible to place an order if the restaurant is closed, very unprofessional.

I tried the Texas Twist Sandwich and fries. I can definitely say that the food is awesome. The sandwich was so tasteful, perfect cooked meat with delicious coleslaw and fresh made fries. I will definitely come back for the food. The staff is friendly and very helpful.
But I was dissatisfied with the cleanliness of the location. Every table that I wanted to seat was not clean. I had to clean the table and the chair myself. The restroom also needed some attention.
This is the reason I gave 3 stars.

BBQ places are like microbreweries today… popping up in almost every town and usually pretty decent. I have visited Fat Jack’s two times and rate the food as average. I have been watching the coming soon signs at this location for what feels like forever. I was excited give this place a try when it finally opened. Both visits I had sandwiches, which are usually my go to food for BBQ. I tried Biscuit and Pork. The Biscuit was overcooked, but the pork was decent (a little fatty though). Fries were good. I was a little disappointed as I was looking forward to a great BBQ place in the area. The setup of the restaurant is done well, with what looks like a solid kitchen. It is a new place, so hopefully they work out the management kinks. I know little about restaurant management, but the menu feels too large for the current throughput. Focusing on a few items and doing them really well might be a better path. I will revisit again in a couple months.

They were out of beef ribs, we don’t eat pork. But had a great substitute, the brisket cheesesteak sandwich and fries. It was fantastic! The staff was friendly and helped in choosing my sub. The dancing chef in the kitchen was a definite bonus! The place is a little pricey.. but money well spent. I am definitely going back.

I just finished my Spicy Texas Twister, every last bite. My mouth still feels happy while the taste of that delicious sandwich lingers. The 3 meats were tender, the sauce perfect, and the slaw added just the right crunch. We’ve had the ribs, which were also excellent, and are looking forward to trying something new the next time. Comfort food? I am feeling very comforted.

Went today. Was recommended. Ordered 4 take outs. Brisket was burnt, could not chew. Not enough bbq sauce, could barely taste. Fries cold. Cook or owner whomever, was slamming things around and cursing out the staff with customers in the restaurant. Bad business. Sorry guys.
