First time here at this location. Fat Jacks has been around for many years, but I haven’t eaten their food in a long time. It was empty on a Thursday night at dinner time. We liked what the menu had to offer so we decided to stay. I ordered a dry rub half rack of pork ribs with M
mac and cheese and green beans for sides. My husband got ribs with sauce, wings, and burnt ends. The dry rub ribs had too much dry seasonings on top. I scraped a lot of it off. The ribs were tender and the meat fell off the bone. The sides left a lot to be desired, and the burnt ends were a little dry for our taste. The pecan pie I had for dessert was yummy. I didn’t like the fact that it was so quiet in the restaurant I could hear what I thought was a microwave door opening and closing while our food was being prepared. I would like to think the food was made fresh and not just heated in a microwave. My husband would like to go back and try more items from the menu. I could take it or leave it.

This place is incredible! The service was top notch! Jeanne was our server and she was the sweetest most down to earth person i have had the pleasure of meeting in this industry! Nothing was too much trouble! She knew the menu as well as told us about their specials and told us to grab a free dessert because we spent over 50.00. The food was outstanding! They have gained a lifelong customer!

Place an order at this restaurant for dinner for 8 people on New Year’s Eve. I clearly told the guy taking the order that I needed enough food for 8 people. They charged me $350 for the order and when I got home, they gave me enough potato salad and mac & cheese for 1 person. Also, the amount of food that we received was so little for $350.00, we could not believe it! Please see pictures below. I called thinking that they made a mistake, and they refused to take responsibility or fix the issue. They put me on hold for 15 minutes and then hung up the phone. I called back and they picked up the phone and told me there was nothing they could do. The staff is rude and ignorant and if they make a mistake don’t expect them to fix it because they won’t. It is a shame because the food is ok, it’s just the service that sucks and the lack of accountability for their mistakes. I don’t like writing bad reviews, but it is important for me to let the public know what they are getting themselves into when supporting restaurants like this one. I do not recommend this restaurant at all.

The brisket loaded fries were out of this world!!! So delicious! The collard greens and ribs were very good as well. Vickie was our server and she was kind, warm and the service was excellent. I will definitely be back wwith my family. Thanks Fat Jacks.

I used to have one in Nephilly and would order every weekend and they closed. When I found them again had to take the drive. Best BBQ ever! Potato salad is awesome! Gonna be coming alot here.

Extremely subpar food imo. The beef ribs had less meat than would be expected on a pork rib. They almost seemed like they trimmed it to be a little bit of meat at the tip of the bone, not the dinosaur bone it’s usually associated with, the 3 bites I got from each bone were ok, but no way were they worth the 24$, and with no sides included. You can see that 3/4 of the bone is showing through the top. The Mac and cheese was also pretty bland. The beans weren’t the best either. I’m by no means a picky eater. All in all an extremely disappointing experience. I’ve been looking around for some quality beef ribs and I convinced my coworker to try them for the first time. Needless to say, I’ll still be looking for a quality beef rib elsewhere. To add I also drove an extra 45 minutes out of my way just to pick them up. Only good part was the service from the women up front.

I walked into the restaurant and the atmosphere was like none other. Smiling faces, great personality from the staff. The food was a whole other story those collard greens are THE BOMB!!!
