Found this restaurant as we were searching for something right off of 95. We were greeted and taken to our seats immediately. Our server was very sweet and checked on us repeatedly. My husband and I both ordered a grilled chicken caesar salad. It was a nice salad and the grilled chicken was warm and well seasoned. My only issue was that it had too much dressing. I blame myself because I normally ask for the dressing on the side but for some reason forgot. It is a very tasty dressing though. Was just a little too much for me.

Good location off the hiway. Busy but was seated quickly. Staff was very friendly and helpful with suggestions. They have a full bar and quality bar tender. Menu has good variety so nice to has many choices. Food was seasoned and prepared nicely. We enjoyed our meal. This was a great stop on our trip to rest and get a very nice meal. It was a great value.

We stopped by for a quick lunch. We were seated promptly, our waitress was very friendly & had several menu recommendations, & the food was great. They had several vegetarian options as well. The restaurant was extremely clean & the bathrooms were immaculate. My only complaint is the menus were printed on paper & were not in the best condition with quite a few stains/tears on them.

The place was nice atmosphere was nice. We stopped in for an early lunch. They have a very nice menu. I chose the hamburger steak gravy onions and peppers with smashed potatoes. My sister had the fried chicken dinner with rice and lime beans. The chicken was the best thing between the two meals. Everything else had little or no seasoning. I would try it again just for the fried chicken.

We decided to stop based on the good reviews! Family friendly, very accommodating, a good variety of food, kids menu, generous portions, and excellent quality! The kid’s pizza is rather small, and may not be enough for a really hungry kiddo. Highly recommend the shrimp and grits, grilled shrimp plate and Burgers. Marking this as a spot to return to!

Cheyenne G was a Blessing of a person to feed us. My Daughter, 2 Brothers, and I stopped in while Charging the Tesla. Ended up having phenomenal grits, burgers, beers, southwest egg rolls. Appreciate the hospitality, the short girls rolling up silverwear seemed so diligent in their work, as well as cleaning and setting the bigger tables up. Highly recommend this spot!

The service was wonderful. Fast, friendly and efficient. The food was very good for the most part. We each had the lunch special for $10.95 each.
My husband had the fried chicken and said it was juicy and very tasty. The fries were fabulous. It has been a long time since I have stollen more than one of the fries off of his plate but we were fighting for these. He also liked the coleslaw.
I had the smothered chicken (no cheese) and it was a little over cooked (so dry) and needed more flavor.
The sweet potato was cooked perfectly and tasted great.
The okra and tomatoes were just ok but considering they are not in season right now they get a pass.
The best thing was the corn bread. AMAZING!!!

We stopped off here on the way back from Florida with no expectations. For a southern food restaurant the food was sadly bland. The Rice was undercooked and hard while the Mac n Cheese needed alot of salt. The beef tips were cooked nicely but again lacked seasoning. The corn bread was delicious however. Just felt like everything lacked flavor.

We tried Fat Jacks for the first time yesterday and we will be going back very soon. As we were approaching the front door were we surprised to see a beautiful Koi pond by the front door. The Koi fish came up to greet us and we spent some time with them on our way out. The restaurant is large with tables and booths. We both got one of their $10.99 lunch specials and we’re not disappointed at all. The service was great we didn’t have to ask for refills for our drinks. Food was brought to the table hot and delicious. They also have a great large patio are for those that like to eat outdoors. Can’t wait to go back and try some more of their delicious food.
Update since my review they added a breakfast menu and we had to try it and it was delicious. Prices are very reasonable so come check out the new menu.

We ordered two different types of delicious gourmet hamburgers, one with fries and the other one with onion straws, and they were delicious. The waitress was the best I’ve had in a long time, despite manning the bar and waiting tables at the same time. She kept our table tidy the whole time and was on top of refreshing our drinks as soon as they were empty. She made sure we had all the condiments and asked us if there was anything else she could get us. Super attentive and pleasant. We had an excellent experience.
