I generally stay around salmon because I just prefer it.
Their Spicy Edamame is great! Definitely a step up from others out there.
Staff is on top of it and courteous.
I recommend the Philadelphia Roll and the Vegas Roll
I tried the Jupiter 8 roll, which had a nice hint of lime with avocado simple but really good. The Forest Fire roll was amazing, with mango and crispy onion giving it a unique sweet and crunchy twist that really stood out to me. The restaurant itself was very clean, and the service was fast and friendly. Overall, it was a great experience. both the veggie and fish options were delicious, and I’d definitely come back again!
But fr if you are vegan/vegetarian they have wonderful veggie rolls!

Tried out Fat Fish for the first time and it was a great experience! The staff was welcoming and nice, and the restaurant was clean. We ordered a few different plates to share and everything came out relatively fast. I wish there was gyoza in the menu, but other than that, the menu had a pretty good variety of both fish and shellfish items.
Would definitely go back to try other items!
One was Las Vegas Roll. I also got Miso soup and iced Thai tea to start off with which was good. Definitely will go back to try more recommendations.
However, I went today (1/24/26) around the time the West Valley location opened and this experience was subpar and the service was horrible.
Our server kept making weird remarks from the moment he came to our table, and seemed put out. While checking us out, he also said he does not remember who ordered what because “he has so many tables”, but it was the tone and attitude behind this comment that was bothersome.
The food is always great, but between my experience today, the menu prices increasing every other time I go in, and them trying to nickel and dime customers for something as small as a side sauce, I don’t plan on giving this business more of my time or money.
It’s a shame that their service is seemingly getting worse.
Our server was extremely rude from the start. Even though we had called ahead to confirm the all-you-can-eat option, he tried to charge us per roll and then acted frustrated when we asked him to correct it. He claimed we “should have mentioned it at the beginning,” and complained that he now had to void the entire charge. As someone who has worked in the service industry, I know that correcting an order takes just a few minutes—definitely not something to be irritated about.
He ignored us for most of the meal, made unnecessary rude comments, and seemed openly annoyed to be working at all. We arrived at 8:05 and left by 9:00 when the restaurant closed, yet the attitude never improved. Another staff member even had to step in to fix the billing issue because our server was visibly upset and standing in the corner instead of helping us.
I’ve always supported and recommended this place, but after this experience I can’t in good conscience continue to do so. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and addresses what happened. I’m extremely disappointed.
The food runner dropped plates pretty hard, which felt a bit uncomfortable. Paying felt awkward as the server held the tablet across the table without letting go, making it feel pressured to tip even with the terrible customer service. I don’t think it was worth the 195$ I spent here. Maybe we came on an off day? Their sister restaurant, Sapa, is better.
