My girlfriend and I stopped in today and I wasn’t disappointed. As a hot dog girl myself i was excited to try a new hot dog joint. I got the Mac Attack hot dog and my girlfriend got the polish dog, we also got a side of cheesy tots. I love to eat food with my hands and get messy and the mac attack sure didn’t disappoint there! Not the easiest to eat but that was to be expected and i had no issues with it. My girlfriend’s polish dog was delicious. Perfect amount of toppings applied. Cheesy tots were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside and tasted delicious. Overall an enjoyable experience! I wish the kind woman who helped us had help of her own as it just seemed to be her but she was amazing and very friendly. Will come back to try other dogs + spuds!

Came to this spot with my girlfriend a couple days ago when we saw their sign by tjmax. First thing we tried was their Seattle dog, which was so tasty that has cream cheese, bbq sauce onions and pickles. We also had a loaded potato that was delicious as well, but the name loaded is an understatement. We both shared and it was enough for both of us. We loved it so much we came back today and tried what the owner calls “ the Mac attack hot dog” which is loaded with Mac n cheese. If you’re someone who loves hot dogs and want the best spin added to it, come to this place. If you want the best loaded potato you ever tried, try their chili loaded potato. Great service as well, lady behind the counter made sure we were greeted and taken care of.

I had an add hit my feed about a place that serves gourmet hot dogs, baked potatoes, and specialty cookies. All me favorites in one spot! Sounds like the motherland!!
I tried it out as soon as I could and loved it. I had the bacon dog, loaded potatoes and Carmel cookie. All of it was awesome. More than I should have eaten in one sitting, but awesome. The team of one running the place was great, friendly and helpful. Highly recommend if you are in the area.

While we were hoping for a better experience, this visit fell short for us. The food was overpriced for what it was, and the macaroni and cheese was disappointing — just plain noodles in a thin, watery cheese sauce.
They do use Miller’s hot dogs, which was a plus, but that’s about the only highlight. The rest of the food was just OK, nothing memorable or worth the cost.
On the positive side, Pamela, the cashier/server, was very polite, helpful, and courteous. I don’t want my poor review of the food to reflect on her performance. She did an excellent job.
One more note: even though we told her we were eating there, our hot dogs were wrapped tightly in paper, which caused all the toppings to stick to the wrapper. We had to unwrap each one and scrape the toppings back on before eating.
Overall, there was nothing special about this place, and for $36, we expected much better quality and attention to detail.

My dad FINALLY made it to Fat Dogs & Spuds today. He grew up eating hotdogs in S.C. as a teen and they became his favorite food. So he couldn’t wait to visit – but at 94 and trips in and out of the hospital, it took him a while. He was delighted with his Times Square hotdog and the chili spuds !! The food is fresh, all beef, and the portions were more than enough. Pam, the owner, was engaging, accommodating and fun to chat with. We are coming back for sure because the combinations available are numerous!

Drive over from Rancho Cordova after seeing high praise and it was well worth it!
We had the Loaded Tots, windy city dog and Eddies bacon dog! Only complaint, kidding, you need a lot of paper towels because she isn’t skimpy with the toppings!!
Also don’t skip the cookies. TOP NOTCH!!

My daughter and I decided to go check out the place tonight and did not disappoint. She loved her cheese dog and the bacon wrap hot dog with onions and jalapeños was spot on. The lady running the place is super kind and definitely a place we will be going back to get our dog fix in.

I love a good baked potato and this did not disappoint! Huge portion, tasted fresh and delicious. Also ordered a bacon wrapped dog and chili cheese tots. Everything was hot and tasted yummy! Really appreciate the service and overall experience here.
