I went out there for the first time tonight to see Abbey Road Trip and it had a great time. The vibe was great. Lots of awesome lighting effects that right set the tone for the show! I look forward to coming back!

First visit for live music this is a great venue. Spacious and well laid out with outdoor patio and smoker’s area. Enjoyed dancing on the dance floor and the light show was very cool. The music was outstanding featuring tribute bands Desperado and Petty Heartbreakers. Eat, drink and be merry at Fat Daddy’s!

My FAVOURITE place in Mansfield, TX!! Whenever I’m in Mansfield, I have to stop by! Most of the time I’m performing there, anyway! So, one stop shop! The food is delicious! The shows are always a blast! Brian is one of the best sound engineers in DFW, in my opinion! Everyone there is great!

Fender burger was super basic, cheap quality meat and fake overly processed cheese. Loaded tater tots, not worth $8 with minimal cheese and bacon but generous portion of sour cream. The entire place smelled of ashtray including the water and taste of the cocktails. Service is not overly friendly and pleasant, as if the customer service is not a priority. In order to leave quick, we ate and drank as fast as possible. Not the worst, but…

This was a little out of the way for me from where I live but I gathered here with a small group of friends for a girls night out and it was so worth it. The food was really good and there was plenty of seating. The live band that night made for a really fun night out. I’ll definitely make it out there again.

This was our 1st time performing at Fat Daddy’s, and it’s an amazing venue and restaurant. The stage and production are excellent. Nice sized stage and drum riser. The sound and lighting guys were suoer friendly and knowledgeable. The wait staff and bartenders were super friendly and had excellent attitudes. The club sandwich was good, as was the onion rings. All in all I highly recommend the place to eat, drink and watch live music. WE will return! MESSER approved!

I don’t know why we continue to subject ourselves to your horrible service time and time again. We enjoy your atmosphere, the establishment is cool, the food is good, the cars are always on point, but the service has been bad every single time we come in whether for a random Monday night or a special holiday occasion when you’re having an event.
Tonight we came in to celebrate a 21st birthday. The bar was dead except for a few people getting ready for a poker tourney you had. There were 3 different servers we noticed and a bartender inside and one outside. It took us about 5 minutes to be greeted after sitting down. We ordered drinks immediately and noticed that the bartender at the main bar was in deep conversation with an older couple there. We kept seeing tickets pop up, but he wasn’t making drinks. We asked our server and she said she had put them in so we ordered an appetizer. Several minutes later our appetizer showed up, but still no drinks. At this point I guess the other servers were asking as well so the bartender finally stopped chatting and started making drinks. By this time I think I saw him separate probably 8 or 9 tickets for bar orders that he had not touched. Success, we are now getting our first round of drinks after being seated and eating our appetizer. It’s all uphill from here right? ? ?
WRONG! Next we order another round because who knows how long it will take. The birthday girl orders a cherry vodka sour and my wife ordered a “Jameson Orange and Sprite”. The girl had no idea what we were talking about. She asked the 21 year old what was in it so she could enter it into her little handheld. That didn’t work so she said she would have to ask somebody else…. Fast forward many, many minutes she comes back and tells my wife she is sorry, but the bar is out of Jameson and orange juice. Uh, wrong “orange”, but ok….. so I ask the bartender directly if they have Jameson Orange and he says they are out of lots of things because they have been waiting on somebody to put in their liquor order for days. He then says, “but if you want to check outside at the other bar they might have it out there”…….. (SIDENOTE: wait, why am I, Mr Customer, going out there to check)….. so I walk outside and ask the bartender who does have it and I buy my wife a drink there. Looking good now right? ? ?
WRONG AGAIN!! So the waitress comes by and checks on us and says “oh, you got another drink” and we explained they had what we wanted outside so we got it ourselves. She apologizes and then this chick proceeds to go outside without asking us and get another drink and brings it to our table and says ok I got it for you. Ummmm, we literally just got it ourselves….. *thinks to self, maybe she’s just being nice and this one is on the house*….. ok well it’s time to go and we are wanting to get our check…. Where is our waitress? Five minutes….. Ten minutes….. I’ll ask the bartender, “Excuse me, can you tab out our table or does it have to be the server?”….. “She has to do it, let me get her………… where is she……… hang on”……….. Fifteen minutes. Oh, look who pops up……. here is your check with your extra drink on it that you didn’t ask for that I got you and charged you for anyway……
Did I mention this happens EVERY SINGLE TIME we are here with the service side of the house. I swear the owner doesn’t care at all about this bar and it’s just a write off for the hot rod shop he owns down the street because nobody in their right mind would come here regularly unless you know the staff and they pay attention to you because you are friends like the bartender and his friends who got all his attention.
CONCLUSION: If you have all the time in the world and aren’t looking for good service, this place is pretty cool. They do have good bands playing from time to time and the bar is nice and the food is good. But the service is what will never allow me to be a regular no matter how many times we have tried over the last 10-15 years……. they just refuse to fix it
