A few buddies from my work group ate here for a quick lunch. We all got po boys, which had fresh bread and fried seafood. The fried pickles were the perfect appetizer. My sweet potato fries were cooked well. Service was fast and friendly. Rustic atmosphere. Would definitely come back on my next trip to Plaquemine!

This restaurant set the standard for customer service. We sat down and talked to our waitress about how to get to Death Valley and she was very patient with us. The food was absolutely delicious and came up super quick. Also Face is an absolute dog and helped us get to the game quick and easy.

My husband was working at DOW &, told me he was having lunch here. He was having the RB Po’boy. He’d said, he had it before &, it was very good. So, I decided to drive out from Denham Springs bec., I love a good RB Po’boy. We had the fried greenbeans as an appetizer bec., he said, they were good as well. Well, it absolutely was. The RB Po’boy was also fabulous. I haven’t had a Po’boy like that since, I was a teen. They just don’t make food like that anymore. I was impressed &, the hr. drive was certainly worth it to me. The dipping sauce for the Po’boy was spot on. I loved the atmosphere. I felt like I was in my element there. The wait staff were wonderful as well. I’ll definitely be making a trip back many times over.

Not everyday you walk into a fine establishment, like Fat Daddy’s, and excellence is layout on the table. Poboy sandwich hit the spot. Was a little worried when the waitress didn’t use a notepad to write our orders down, but I wasn’t familiar with her intellectual capabilities. Surprised this spot doesn’t have a Michelin star.

Went to Fat Daddy’s on October 9th. We were never greeted or acknowledged. We never even got our drink order taken. This place has gone downhill tremendously. I used to come down often to eat here but this will likely be my last visit until something is done

With a name like Fat Daddy’s and being a block away from my work appointment, I had to hit up a Poboy! Had a split decision between the Shrimp and the Sharon’s Special. The waitress suggested the shrimp and it was a great choice! Was medium-sized shrimp fried well, but could’ve used an extra shrimp or two to fill out the half poboy. Unfortunately, that’s where the meal stopped being enjoyable. The fries were a soggy mass stuffed in a paper bag and the pickle tasted like used oil. Washed it down with some sweet tea.
Was an enjoyable poboy, but I’ll find a new spot to try next time I’m in town.

we ordered a Sharon special poboy with fries and a pulled pork poboy take-out… when we get home both poboys were soggy and bread was mushy. the Sharon was drenched with mayonnaise and fries were refrigerator cold….NEVER AGAIN
