We found this small place on our travels and decided to give it a try. We were not disappointed. We ate inside but it seems the majority of business comes from takeout and delivery. The pizza was absolutely delicious. The staff were very personable and pleasant as well. I definitely recommend trying Fat Daddio’s if you are in the area!

Today Tony Vanoy and I stopped at “Fat Daddo’s Pizza in DeSota area of Sarasota off University Blvd.
It’s a small place in a shopping strip area.
It was clean and staff friendly!
We ordered 1 slice each of Pepperoni Pizza and shared a 12oz can of Coca Cola…
Oh it was so good going down!
The Pizza was good and very large. I ate about 1/2 of mine my pouch was full.
I would recommend and they offer free parking! I hope you try them out.

This place is solid! Customer service is always excellent and the pizzas are amazing! Plus, I love how they send me weekly coupons!!! If you haven’t tried it yet you’re missing out.

Very disappointed in the food quality. Veggies still raw and cold in the calzone. Pasta dish also lukewarm. Arrived at restaurant for pickup before ready. So all items should have been hot but they were not. Garlic bread over baked. Second visit over the years. Struck out big time.

I understand it’s Christmas Eve and they were busy… That is no reason to be rude to a customer that’s been supporting your business since you opened. Rodger was very rude when I checked on my delivery status since it was over an hour since I ordered it on their app. Delivery driver was no better. I’ll get my pizza from someone else from now on.

My all time favorite pizza place!!! I love pizza & trying out different places. Fat Daddio’s is, hands-down, the best I’ve ever had! Quality is great, good customer service & good prices. I usually pick up & had delivery once. The delivery pizza seemed to have sat unevenly during the ride, causing some cheese to gravitate to one side. Cheese was still covering the whole pie, no bald spots, so no big deal. (Photos included of what I usually get & the delivery pizza)

Had the pizza some months ago, nothing memorable, but wanted to give them another shot so I stopped in again and tried something else.
Today, I went with chicken piccata. Four options for the pasta, I went with penne. It comes with a side salad (standard or Caesar) and a piece of foccacia.
Well, a hunk of warm, soft, chewy, delicious foccacia that I want to make a sandwich with! (Never been a big fan of foccacia before but the others were obviously sub-par.)
The Caesar was fine, not great, but solid.
The piccata had a lot of chicken, an entire breast I’d venture, tender enough to cut with a fork. The lemon and capers flavored it all wonderfully.
All that for $17, the price of a sandwich in some places in town. I got a full meal and some leftovers.
The service is friendly & quick, parking is easy & wheelchair access shouldn’t be an issue as the sidewalk is wide and there is a lot of room inside.
In the end, 4.5 would be my rating but ½ stars aren’t an option so, 5 it is.

Fat Daddios is the best pizza spot in Sarasota! My husband & I have ordered from here a few times and they’ve been consistently on point. The crust is perfectly cooked & their sauce is *chefs kiss*. The staff has also been very kind every time. Highly recommend!

This place is fire, fuego, they got that heat. I gave up on Florida pizza until I tried their slice and the sandwiches oh my god they will knock your socks off to yesterdays tomorrow. HEAVY HITTERS
