Come enjoy Smithville’s new wine bar and full-service Restaurant. We strive to offer as much Farm to Table as possible, do our own shopping to be able to pick out the freshest produce we can find if we can’t grow it ourselves & focus on freshly made from scratch food. Our mushrooms are grown locally, & we are able to get produce from other local farmers as well as have beef & pork options from our farm. Our wine menu is extensive & our aggressive pricing on the wines allow you to enjoy a gourmet meal & easily not pay more than $30 or $40 a bottle from our selection of over 100 wines. Our wines are priced to move and not to sit on our shelf.

Absolutely LOVED this place! We stumbled upon fat cat lounge after our original idea for a birthday dinner was packed with a birthday party, and I am so glad we did! The atmosphere is so relaxed and welcoming, like going to a friends house, and the (I think) owner and the waitress were amazing and helpful with wine and food selection! But the crown jewel of this place, the food; I don’t even know how to describe how wonderful the food was but it was wonderful to say the least. We collectively had the creamy Jalapeno dip, lasagna, a bison burger, and bread pudding! Everything is homemade, including the dressing (blue cheese was fantastic) I recommend all of it! Just go there, you will love it!

Came in for an early dinner and had the best time!! The owner and the chef are amazingly friendly, and super kind about children. We brought our 1.5 yr old in and they made her a small kiddie tray to tide her over until dinner. Really good people and all of our dishes were DELICIOUS!! Fresh ingredients and great flavor.

If there were 10 stars on the food it would have been 10 stars, it was amazingly good. The atmosphere was awesome and plenty of things to look at on the walls. My husband was I will definitely be returning, we live in Bastrop and it’s only less then 15 minutes away definitely worth the drive.

The atmosphere is so cool! The music was fantastic! We had spicy edamame for appetizer and it was DELICIOUS!! We had the Portabella Pizza and so good! The ranch dressing on my salad was delicious!! You absolutely have to try the homemade mozzarella sticks. Delicious!

We love their burgers. The atmosphere was much nicer this visit as the lights were turned down. Lucky this evening as a band was playing. Great Blues! Brought some family and they loved the burgers as well! Chose to upgrade the patty – wagu/grainfed? I got the tuna this time for something lighter – very good. Huge wine list with amazing prices. Will be a regular visit.

They serve beer wine appetizers, some entrees and desserts. The evening we went in here the AC just could not keep up. The waiter was slow because of the crowd but very friendly. I would say give this place a try. We will go back when no special event is going on . Second visit mid afternoon AC not cooling place or they have it turn high.
