I so badly wanted this place to be good but alas this is not the one. I was really hungry and did not feel like eating my Costco microwave dinner so I decided to head out to Fat Burrito. I see this place everyday once I get of the freeway and figured I will stop by one day and check it out. Today was that day and I drop up and parked in a neat spot behind the establishment and walked in. I was pleasantly greeted by this wonderful elderly woman who asked me if I ordered ahead. I said I would like to place an order for 3 Al Pastor, with cilantro and onions. There was a man in the kitchen who immediately began working on the food preparation. I was so excited as I thought this is going to be great. The food was ready in no time and the price was beyond reasonable.

Once I was in my office I opened the Styrofoam box only to be disappointed. The meat looked stale and I could not tell what kind of meat it was. It did not taste horrible; however this was not was I was expecting. I read all of the review as was super excited. I guess I should have not jumped to conclusions. I should have stuck with the breakfast burrito but who know. I guess this place is not for me.

Awesome Mom and Pop shop with literally Mom and Pop making your food. Authentic to the bone. You have to stop here when you’re in the area. Mom came out while I was eating and we chatted for 30 minutes. I had lunch and made a friend. Simple menu, salsa is fire. I will be back to visit and stuff my face. Thank you!

I came to this restaurant hoping to enjoy some good Mexican food — they offer burritos, quesadillas, sopes, and tacos. Unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing, not because of the food, but because of the attitude of the people working there.

During my visit, I heard very disrespectful and offensive comments about Latinos, including remarks suggesting that they “don’t serve any purpose” and “only come to steal.” This kind of behavior is unacceptable anywhere, especially in a place that profits from Mexican culture and cuisine.

No one deserves to be spoken about that way. I hope the management changes the way to respect latinos customers, because discrimination and hate have no place in any restaurant.

Burrito de nopal! Tasted great and cheap too! Gotta stop by this Lil shop. Family owned and ran. Highly suggest grabbing a quick burrito from here.

Great mom & pop Mexican food. This lovely couple has been in business cooking up some yummy food for over 50 years. Excellent food. Fantastic service.

This is a cute mom and pop spot with breakfast burritos and other types of eats. I ordered a chorizo breakfast burrito with nopal and cheese. They charged 1 dollar per extra, but the base price of the burrito was $3.99 which is extremely affordable. I found the burrito be a bit lackluster. The salsa was yummy and peppery, which was the standout. The thing disappointed me was the coffee. I could taste soap. Overall, fine, but I’d go somewhere else for a breakfast burrito despite the price.

This is a real mom and pop shop. When you go in you feel like you’re going home. There’s only three tables, so if you’re going to be eating in, you’re going to be making new friends as you sit down for lunch. I kind of enjoy this as I get to meet new people. I had lunch there which was fabulous, and then I decided to go in and try their breakfast burrito, also fabulous. If you want good Mexican food that’s original and great tasting this is the place to go. And as for their hot sauce, it is indeed hot sauce. Very flavorful.

Small place. Happened upon Fat Burrito on our way to F&A CU. The name caught our eye. The torta was good. I didn’t care for whole beans. I would have preferred the beans mashed and bun slightly toasted and avocado Mashed as well. A little more seasoning. Perhaps some Chipotle. Husband had hard she’ll tacos. He enjoyed his food.
