Wow, what an experience. This is probably the second hole in a wall place that I’ve found on The Miami area. It did not disappoint at all. The staff were very friendly and I really liked that this was a black owned concept. The ribs were great as well as the Alabama White sauce. The inside is t the most spacious but there was a good flow of people dining in and picking up that we found a seat easily.

We got the 3 piece combo meal which came with pulled pork, ribs, and brisket. We also got the chicken. All of the meat was good besides the brisket. It was quite fatty and very dry. Also I was super bummed because I wanted the fries which are on the menu, but their fryer was broken that day. So I ordered chicken wings indeed and placed the order/paid then they called my name and said I had to order something else since they didn’t have the chicken wings. I felt like everything I wanted they didn’t have. Bummer

Oil Drenched, Soggy bread and dry BLAND chicken. I would’ve been better of going to McDonald’s. NEVER AGAIN.. Mac n cheese tastes like jail food. Fries were horrible. I will NEVER EVER try again. Couldn’t even finish it had to toss it in the garbage where it belonged.

Oh yeah! I had a list of restaurants to visit while in S Florida. This was my BBQ choice. And I was NOT disappointed. I got the baby back ribs, Mac n cheese, brisket baked beans, and peach cobbler for dessert.
I was able to quickly order on their kiosk. I sat down to wait and in less than 5 minutes… my order was ready.
In the bag was everything I needed to dive in when I got back to where I was staying. Because I ordered ribs, I was realistic in my abilities to keep a white shirt unscathed, I also grabbed some extra napkins.
The 29 minutes it took me to get back was excruciating… I may have sampled the peach cobbler at a stoplight.
After dinner I had to sit back on the couch to let it settle. Tender meat that fell off the bone without being greasy or stringy. Chunks of brisket in the beans. And, tasty Mac n cheese.
I finished it up with a peach cobbler that was delicious and you could taste the seasonings. Nothing bland in this meal.
My only regret was not ordering the corn nuggets.
I recommend eating in next time because waiting to dig in while smelling the food on the car ride was terrible.

Absolutely delicious! The brisket and ribs were insanely flavorful. The cornbread was probably one of the best I’ve ever had ! it came out warm and soft. For the price, the portion was very generous and definitely worth it. I would highly recommend it and will definitely be returning!

I did not like the fact that the person at the counter was on her phone and couldn’t be bothered to help us or even great us, it was very rude. That right off the bat had me not liking the place. Also hate the fact that i had to put our order in the tablet versus being waited on. Just think that is a horrible way to do business. Had the baby back ribs and enjoyed them with the multiple options for bbq sauces it was surprisingly good. My husband had the brisket sandwich and it was also pretty good. The baked beans though had cinnamon or something else in the and did not like them at all. Once we had the food the cook checked in our us but just wish that was the greating from the beginning.

We enjoyed the brisket sandwich with collard greens. The brisket in the sandwich was not fatty and extremely flavorful. Yummy a must try
The burnt ends were a little in the fatty side but good.
If you are trying the brisket for the first time you will not be disappointed with the brisket sandwich/plate.

Ive been waiting to try this place. I placed an online order for burnt ends. When i got there i was told there was no more. I got brisket instead. Its sooo dry. The mac and cheese tastes like its from a box. And the cornbread was so hard and dry i couldn’t eat it. One piece was hard as a rock. For $34 it was definitely not worth it.
