The place is small and not fancy, so if you’re looking for something upscale, this might not be the spot for you. However, from the moment you walk in, you’re welcomed with a big smile and great energy by the girl at the front. She’s incredibly kind, friendly, and attentive, which makes you feel comfortable right away.
Now, the food is WOW 10/10. The flavors are absolutely incredible and honestly unexpected. It’s truly out of this world. This is definitely a hidden gem for locals. I 100% recommend it. It’s one of those places where you don’t expect the food to be so amazing, and it leaves you wanting to come back for more.

First time at Fat Boyz and will be back. Had the pulled pork and baby back ribs combo. The pulled pork was piled high and was full of flavor. The ribs were juicy, meaty and had a nice layer of skin. The sauces were all flavorfull and I enjoyed them all. My sides of corn bread and fries were both excellent Also the employees were super friendly and overall a great experience . 🙂

I drove a little over 50 minutes with the anticipation of sinking my teeth into true smoked BBQ chicken — the kind that carries depth, patience, and pride. Unfortunately, the experience fell short from the very first bite.
I ordered the BBQ chicken sandwich. The bread arrived cold, the meat was barely warm, and there was none of the smoky richness I had hoped for. The chicken was surprisingly bland, lacking the slow-smoked flavor and craftsmanship you’d expect from a seasoned pit master — especially compared to what I’m accustomed to in Dade County. The order came out in under five minutes, which explained a lot.
Customer service was uninspired, and I found myself tasting the sandwich in the car, unable to finish it. Even the barbecue sauce — usually the saving grace of any sandwich — tasted generic. A store-brand bottle would have offered more character.
For a first visit, this was a disappointment. I truly wanted to love this place, but the execution simply wasn’t there.

I’ve never been here before but I decided to try them to cater a party in my home. Ordered through EZ Cater. The food came exactly on time. Arrived hot. Very well packaged. Clearly marked. I ordered food for 11 and it was enough for 20. Since the food was so good, definitely a good problem to have so many leftovers. The chicken and the collard greens were my favorite. Great service. Great experience. Will definitely cater with them again.

i tried fat boyz for the first time and it was so good. i got the brisket, mac and cheese, and fries. the brisket was super smoky and juicy, plus it had this crispy bark on the outside that was just perfect. the mac and cheese was cheesy and creamy, and the fries were seasoned really well. the whole plate was fire and i was stuffed after. i would definitely go again.

The food was delicious!! We ordered the 3 meat combo. Unfortunately they had run out brisket so we’ll have to come back! The corn bread and baked beans were 10/10. The staff was super nice !!

We ordered the burnt ends plate….. oh my goodness. It was excellent. People were so friendly! Fast service. Also ordered a brownie. Fudgy and delicious! The birch beer soda was good. We added the Carolina and the spicy bbq sauces. Also got French fries and potato salad. Everything was great. Next time we are in the area we want to try the Big Daddy- it is a brisket and pulled pork sandwich with Mac and cheese on it!!! Sounds amazing. If you are in the area you won’t be disappointed here!

My food was warm almost cold. Macaroni was spoiled, ribs extra fatty overall I would never go back. Thought I’d get some good ol fashion soul food. Would’ve been better off eating chili’s ribs. Money was definitely wasted, but that was just my experience.
