Fat Boy’s Pizza makes big pizza. Our large pies measure 30 inches across, but the number scarcely does it justice. When you see one it looks like the whole world got smaller, and your idea of pizza got bigger. If the slice was any larger, you could run it up a flagpole and pledge allegiance to it.

Fat Boy’s Pizza is one of my favorite pizza joints. I feel like it’s the closest to having New York style in a city with more humidity than a sauna. The pepperoni pizza is fantastic and my favorite. Normally, I like mushrooms, onions, etc on my pie. However, at Fat Boy’s, simple cheese and pepperoni are all that is needed. They have other great pies, as well as the salads, but the pepperoni is my favorite, due to its simplicity. Haven’t tried the sliders yet, but those are next on the list!

02NOV24 ~ Their pizza is good, better than most of the delivery & pick up pizza places, to NOT name names, but you pay more. You get what you pay for. You do stand in line in order to order at the counter. They give you a cup at the counter & the drinks are self-service. I do not like that they have the ‘tip’ cup, I guess it is for service that is NOT given. It is all self-service! The tables are small, so they have stands, about 10″ high, that the pizza sits on top of. This is an accident waiting to happen. You do go to a pizza place to eat pizza, and the pizza is good, though I would not normally go out of my way to go eat at Fat Boys. ~ They share the store with ‘Savvy Sliders’.

Mature female wasn’t very helpful for a first timer. Nevertheless I ordered 12sliders and I was not offered anything else or told of any meals that may have much cheaper than 40+ bucks!! But then i get back to the office and the 6 steak sliders had to go in the trash! I did not want to go back because i was not comfortable with her vibes tge first timer. Steak was dry and over salted and old tasting. The boom chicken sliders were ok. I wont be back.

This place used to be hit around 2022. Even last year it was better. When I went in today, it was entirely different. The service was awful. The woman at the counter was rude and impatient despite it being super slow. The quality of the food has also gone down significantly. My entire pizza had maybe 5 mushrooms all together. The pizza used to be the best in the area but now I’d say it’s towards the bottom of my list. We decided to order a 5pc chicken nugget, no sides, just nuggets. It took well over 25 minutes to get the nuggets. It’s really disappointing to see a great place fall off hard like it is.

Totally awesome experience. The pizza was insanely tasty, staff friendly, clean facility, short wait time from order to table. I had a shrimp ceasar salad with my pizza. I’ve never had pizzeria salad so fresh and well prepared. The lettuce was nice and crispy, just the right amount of dressing, and the shrimp were tender and seasoned to perfection.
It goes without saying that this is my new go-to pizzeria while visiting NOLA.

Best experience of my life. I hated my life until I visited this establishment. I had no future until I tasted the nectar of the gods that is called Fatboys pizza & Savvy sliders… Jafar, a friend from afar, cooks everything to perfection with a smile.
