Favorite restaurant in Mobile! Everything is delicious and they have a huge variety of foods to choose from. Service is great as well. I highly recommend, if I could give 10 stars I would!

I had a great experience at Fat Boys Diner. The food was great and the people were exceptionally friendly and helpful. This diner reminded me of a few spots in my hometown Indianapolis “NAPTOWN” Indiana. I will definitely come here often.
I explained that it was my first time here & could I eat here. The nice lady said, “Absolutely, you can sit down & eat anywhere you want.” Then Jokingly she said, “You can even go to sleep back there, everybody else does.” Hahahaha!!! It was at that point I felt like I was at home and I thought, I’m always coming back from time to time to eat. Hahaha!!!!

The food is definitely plentiful. Little pricey on the wings and things platter though. All in all. It was really good. The restroom was clean and the staff was really nice.

I visited this establishment today and the young man spoke and gave us menus to order. As I ordered he put the orders in and the prices were displayed on the receipt where I could see and was more than the menu prices. I asked why were they different, did the prices change, and he said tax was included in prices. When I noticed the tax added at the end, I asked was I paying double tax, then he said the prices changed, and showed me a small hand written sign on the wall. So why didn’t he let me know that when he gave us the menu? This was very deceptive. We ordered 3 Jumbo burger combos with specific toppings and 1 big burger. After they were ready I looked at the orders but didn’t take the buns off to see if made as ordered until we got home and they were not, was very disappointed and dissatisfied. All the burgers were the same size as the big burger which means we paid for 3jumbo burgers and 1 big burger but got 4 big burgers. They were dry, tasteless and hard and meat was in pieces and fries tasted stale, dry and hard. Very much disappointing for the money we spent there, not worth it and I won’t be going back. Spent over $40.00 for this.

First time there normally order on Grubhub I was over charged for cheese toast cheese toast is a .50 cent up charged but was charged $3 extra for both cheese toast on our 2 plates so and extra $6 then got home to eat the shrimp over season and the eggs are greasy. I think I will stick to ordering for delivery seems like they put more care into it.

I was hungry for breakfast and didn’t want the regular fast food. Drove the extra few miles to this place. I loved the entire vibe. The service was quick and food was amazing. Everyone was pleasant. All the older patrons seemed like they were at home. Freshly cooked. They know the difference from scrambled eggs “with cheese” vs scrambled eggs “and cheese” at the big food companies. The prices are affordable and the variations of different food items are endless. I’ll be back tomorrow

Easy parking, the service was amazing and the food… OMG! I had the pancakes, breakfast sausage and scrambled egg and also some corn bread, absolutely soooooooo good!

Vanesa took exceptional care of us! Food and service were exceptional. We had Lemon Pepper wings and their Fatboys grilled chicken. Next time we are in from TN, we will be back!
