While I understand this is a seafood restaurant, I am not a big seafood eater and therefore, I struggled a little bit with what to order. That is my only reason for not giving a five star rating on the food and overall.
That said, we were a party of around 30ppl celebrating a birthday. Even though we did not have a reservation, the restaurant knew we were coming and was prepared for our arrival. We were all able to sit together on one side of the restaurant on a Saturday afternoon at 4pm. That’s a huge plus! The atmosphere was great for a celebration. The TV screens and music were an added bonus.
One thing to note is that the servers do not take your order, they only bring it to the table. Be prepared to go to the register to order and prepay for your food. However, the service is very fast as there was hardly anytime between ordering and receiving our food.
Everyone seemed to really enjoy their meal. The only complaint I know of in the whole party, was that the seafood broil didn’t have a lot of juices in the bag, there wasn’t any or enough old bay seasoning, and there was only one cluster of crab legs. Otherwise, everything was good and plentiful, and reasonably priced.
I managed to piece together a meal for myself by ordering the grilled wings with the sweet chili sauce, chili cheese fries, and broccoli. The birthday girl also ordered the jerk wings and we were both very pleased! Those who ordered the crabs said they were very good. I would recommend this restaurant to all the seafood lovers I know.

Disappointing! Crab Shak is so much better. The 50/50 soup was not good. The lump crab cake was topped with lump crab and was good. Good tartar sauce.
They didnt have a shirt in the size I wanted. That was a disappointment. Disappointing for the price-point.

This restaurant has the best crab cakes I’ve had in Maryland so far. They are not only large, but pretty much just crab. Other places include a ton of filling, and stilll charge an arm and a leg. However, these crabcakes are also very expensive, just worth it. The mussels here are also great, and come in a giant serving with a buttery white wine sauce. The atmosphere is very boisterous.

WOW!!! Cannot say enough about the food we ordered! Fried calamari, white crab soup, crab cakes and seafood combination was AMAZING!! The warm crab dip and bread were phenomenal! Service is great and the drinks are strong! Don’t judge a book by it’s cover, and don’t let the interior atmosphere make you have second thoughts. You will not be disappointed!

I went on Valentine’s day and it was not crazy crowded but when I tell you I absolutely loved this place, it was a comfortable spot to be at,the Music was on point. They played a lot of oldies but goodie’s and the crabs were really big, I ordered large. I’m wondering if I ordered the colossal they probably would have been huge. The meat in those crabs was unbelievable and they were so good. I want to go back again. There’s lots on the menu. I want to order and try. I highly recommend going to this place especially if you like to drink you can get your drinks and sit at the table and eat your food, Just be prepared when you go in they’ll give you a menu and you can order what you like seat yourself and someone will give you a number to place on your table But the food don’t take long to come at all, Bon appétit

Fatboys made my birthday the best ever. Crabs were nice and hot they were able to accommodate my large party with 8 dozens of crabs. Thank you for your hospitality to the cashiers, waiters and manager Kumar!

I couldn’t tell you what the food tastes like, I never got to order. My friend arrived 10 minutes before me and had gotten a table. When I arrived she hadn’t even been offered water let alone a menu. We waited an additional 10 minutes with no attention and decided to leave……and even then, no one seemed concerned. This was my first time going into this establishment and you only get one time to make an impression.

I’m trying to figure out if the employees are paid to do these reviews. The actual atmosphere got three stars because of the folks that were in the building. I’m surprised their standards weren’t a little bit more high than this. The bartender was nice and pleasant and quick on her feet, but the food was trash. The only thing I was suggest ordering here is the crab egg rolls. The fried shrimp platter was garbage. I spoke to the manager about it. He wasn’t willing to budge as a matter of fact, he touched my shrimp, and put it back on my plate. Did not try to accommodate me by replacing it. The girl who served me had a lollipop in her mouth while bringing out my food. Of course the bartender was too busy to bring all food out, so this was disturbing to me. Why have a lollipop in your mouth while serving food? Anybody should know better. This place also could use a little maintenance. For the prices of the crab and crab legs. The restaurant looks like trash. I will not return. Overpriced and overcooked. TRASH FOOD

I went to the Fat Boys Crab Shack to finish celebrating my granddaughter’s 8th birthday and some friend. They ordered crabs.
I’m allergic to seafood so I ordered the chicken tenders and fries. The chicken tenders were nice and crispy. The coleslaw was really good. The servers were really nice.
