I came here for the first time during lunch while traveling for work. The first thing I noticed was that there isn’t a diner so I had to eat in my vehicle which was a little difficult. I ordered the two meat plate with ribs, sliced brisket, beans and potato salad. The brisket was dry and just bland. The ribs were pretty good. The beans reminded me of ranch style beans with sugar in them. The potato salad reminded me of mashed potatoes with a lot of mayonnaise in it which I kinda liked even though it was different since I love mayonnaise. Overall, the food was not as good as I was expecting or hoping for and the lack of tables to sit at was a damper.

I have been to just about every state in the country and eaten at countless restaurants. This is by far the worst food I’ve ever tasted. I paid $38 for two taco plates and a sausage plate. The sausage tasted like dog food smells and I wouldn’t even feed it to my dog. My daughter smelled the sausage after I cut it and she gagged. I brought the food back so they could throw it away. No refund was given. I don’t understand how this place is in business still.

Boudin dried out and Brisket is thin. Waste of money. Papas better than this place.

Used to come here pretty often around the time this location opened up. While it did lower some of the portions over time, the quality stayed the same. Juicy, well seasoned, fall apart brisket, ribs, and pork. Only issues I’ve ever had, were the drinks either tasting weird, old, or had ice in them after asking for no ice. But really, if you’re going to some place called Fat Boys BBQ, you’re going there for meat. Not drinks. I’d recommend the brisket and pulled pork sandwiches. Along with or just some ribs. they are a tad bit on the pricier side, but damn is it worth it.

The new macaroni and cheese is amazing. Definitely an even more inviting dish to complete the meal….

I really enjoy trying bbq, and this brisket and turkey were definitely one I look forward to not trying again. Ordered the brisket sandwich and a quarter lbs of turkey. The best part of the sandwich was the onions. The bread seemed like school lunch bread and the brisket wasn’t noteworthy. The turkey was very salty and the slices were extremely thin. Almost like a deli cut. For good bbq, I would recommend other spots.

Also the side selection sucks

I ordered a baked potato “all the way” means just sour cream and cheese. The chopped briket was good but the portion was lacking.

I’ve eaten BBQ all over Texas, and this doesn’t even rank. It was greasy and the portions were too small. The baked beans were sweetened ranch style beans, the green beans came with what I assume is boiled pork and grease, the sauce tasted like straight up vinegar, and the potato salad was drenched in mayo. I’m giving 1 star because it was in general, edible.
