Classic Maryland Pit Beef. Very interested to try the ribs one day. First time at this establishment, driven by many times but never had the time to stop.
Did not expect a brioche bun when I opened up the foil, y’all might be the only pit beef spot in Maryland doing that….dig it. Bun was fresh, held up decently from all the juicy protein. Not sure if there are other bread options available but I still think I would pick the brioche.
Nice stack of meat, asked for medium, got more of a medium well but some of that could of been from getting wrapped in foil, carry over cooking. Meat was tender and moist even without any sauce. I thought it could use a bit more smoke, unsure of what they are cooking over back there.
Fried pickles were good, I think pickle chips have a better bite than the spears but that’s just me.
Small menu, nothing fancy. Good selection of sauces to choose from, all appear to be house made. Sweet BBQ, Sweet Heat BBQ, Tiger Sauce, Tangy Mustard, Classic Yellow…ect
Large bin of perfect thin sliced onion, large tub of fresh horseradish (on ice too!!), this spot knows how to do Maryland Pit Beef.

I come all the way from Pennsylvania for this pit beef!! It’s worth the hour + drive. I love how they have all of the sauces and condiments up front to choose from. Most places charge for extra sauces but not here!! Love that they’re family owned- it’s awesome to support a small family owned business!! Must try in Maryland!!

I have lived about 30 minutes from Fast Eddie’s for about 8 years and just discovered it. Boy have I been missing out! I’ve now been twice in a week. The first visit I didn’t realize there was no inside seating. I did eat my food outside but I’m not into that however I almost forgot it was 150° outside because the food was to die for! I had the trio sandwich with fries and I added the beautifully sliced onions, horseradish and the delicious Memphis BBQ sauce. My second visit I got another trio sandwich to take home and it was just a delicious as the first one. Don’t miss out and get here! I promise you won’t be disappointed!

I stopped in for the first time today, and I am so glad I did. As a Baltimorean, I grew up eating pit beef and I still love a good pit beef sandwich. Fast Eddie’s did not disappoint!! It was a great experience from the time I walked in the door. I was greeted and welcomed warmly as soon as I entered. Erin, who took my order was friendly and efficient. I ordered a pit beef sandwich and fries. The sandwich was piled high, (a thick sandwich for the price), and the fries were awesome. The beef was tender and you have numerous sauces and horseradish and other condiments to choose from. You put them on yourself so you can dress your sandwich to your liking. Erin was attentive to me as I ate outside at the picnic tables, and we had a nice conversation about my military sevice. Really, really nice lady. Fast Eddie’s is lucky to have her. All in all a great experience. Good customer service seems to be increasingly rare these days, but not at Fast Eddie’s!!! I highly recommed giving them a try and I certainly will be back!!

First time going here and I live very close by. I wish I knew how good this place was earlier. Awesome food and friendly staff for a good price. Highly reccomend the pit beef sandwich and the chicken tenders were really good as well and the sauces were all very good! Must Try! Great Place.

Update to the review as its the only way to respond to the owners repy. It was dismaying that the response was just push back rather than acknowledging that the sandwich was not as good… contaminated by onion flavor, sliced thicker maybe impacting smoked flavor, and definitely a different roll even if the other location may have changed to that roll more recently. The condiments offered to customers may seem minor but have an impact. And the fact that the dog scrap was refused outright while routine at the other store shows the difference in customer focus. The key to small business success is usually acknowledging when the customer has a bad experience, not saying the customer is wrong!
This review compares this location to the now closed Northeast location. Drove to Fallston to try it for the first time since I missed my usual place. The pit beef wasn’t anywhere near as good. The meat was sliced thicker and an onion flavor permeated it (or the roll). The roll was different and seemed smaller. The smoke flavor was more overpowering. There were no salt packets to go. And the Northeast locations ALWAYS gave me scraps for my dog. This one refused even a single scrap. I miss the Northeast location. Fallson one is nowhere near as good. But their cornbread was top notch and service was friendly!

Thanks for the response! I appreciate you clearing that up. Just to note the cursing actually happened before the fire incident, but I understand things can get hectic. I’m glad everything was handled safely, and I do respect the community you all have. Wishing you a great holiday as well.
I recently visited Fast Eddie’s in Fallston, and while the food is decent, the atmosphere created by the staff was unacceptable. During my visit, I was shocked to hear employees dropping F-bombs in front of customers, which is something I’ve never experienced outside of a bar setting. It’s incredibly unprofessional and rude.
To make matters worse, there was an incident where a plastic bin caught fire, and the staff had to fill cups with water to put it out. This added a layer of chaos to an already uncomfortable situation.
This was not just a one-time occurrence; I noticed the same behavior during my last two visits. One of the female employees was particularly rude and dismissive towards customers, even her co workers
Given this experience, I won’t be returning to Fast Eddie’s and will be opting for Chaps instead, where I know I’ll get a great service

First time trying pit beef ever and Fast Eddies definitely set the bar high! The food was hot and delicious and didn’t take long at all. Very filling and for the price was well worth it. Not a crumb was left and put us in a food coma! Definitely will be coming back

I couldn’t figure out what to do for my staff of 10 people for a last minute Christmas party, when someone mentioned Fast Eddies. I called and placed the order for 5 lbs of pit beef, wings, fries, and sweet potato fries. What a hit! My staff loved it. Not one wing, beef, or fries left at the end of the party.
I can’t thank you enough. It’s so hard to please 10 people, but somehow, you managed to do it! I’m so grateful!!

Used to eat here all the time when I lived in MD. Moved to GA , no good pit beef places in Augusta. Make a point to eat here at least once everytime I come back. Friendly staff great food, good service.
