It was a day of craving fried chicken, so off to FEFC for an inexpensive lunch. As I’ve said before, my go to is the White Box. It contains, two side breast and one center breast. I always thought a chicken breast was a chicken breast. Until I started eating here at Fast Eddie’s, I didn’t know there was a difference. To be honest, I still really don’t know the difference.
The reason I don’t know the difference is because I am too busy enjoying my crispy crunchy chicken. I like how their chicken is simply seasoned with salt and pepper. Also, it’s never overly greasy. The outside is thin and crispy and the inside is moist, tender and hot. All boxes come with a side of crinkle fries. They’re fried crisp and the crinkles catch the ketchup, making them a perfect side.
There’s no dining in. It is walk-up to a window and order your food to go. The staff is friendly and hustle to get your order out to you as quickly as possible.

They have good fried chicken and gizzards. A pretty good malt shake as well. This is what I go there for, they have a decent amount of other stuff but haven’t tried most of it. Expect to pay for extras like sauces, cup of ice, etc.

It’s a walk up restaurant serving fried chicken and shakes and ice cream. I got fried chicken livers with french fries. They were large portions, and it tasted good. The lack of a dining area makes it carry out only, but you can call your order in ahead of time so you don’t have to wait around outside too long.

Best chicken anywhere. The food here is just like it use to be it’s worth driving here from st Louis or any other place the chicken is well done and has a good scald on it so the coating doesn’t fall off. I am so excited the food is like it was Kathy use to tell my mom she was one of her best customers because we ate there everyday sometimes for lunch and dinner well looks like we are starting back . This place has always been mom’s favorite place to eat I pray God keeps her healthy and she can continue to eat here for a long time she is in end stage renal failure but has been able to control it with her diet but she wants her chicken and it is that good.
