$25 Bottomless Maragarita Fridays!

Saw this special advertised so my homegirl and I planned to check it out. I haven’t been to Fast Eddie’s in years so the upgraded ambiance did not go unnoticed. The special ends at 8 PM EST and is only valid with a purchase of an entree we arrived around 6:15 PM EST. They did not disappoint on the food! Shout out to the chef! It was well worth the price. The quantity was large and the quality was beyond tasty.

They had two types of Margaritas to choose from: Mango and Strawberry. Unfortunately this isn’t one of those “heavy pour” spots. The Margaritas were weak – I assume because they were bottomless. That was disappointing.

The service was SLOW. Our first waiter hassled me to order because “you can’t get bottomless without ordering food” I already knew that but just wasn’t ready to eat just yet. Finally, when I was ready to order, he took his time getting to our table. It was apparent his shift was ending because he passed us on (read: pointed to our table as he spoke to a colleague) then just left. No warning, no closing out, just gone. After he left we had a hard time getting the attention of someone behind the bar to come to our table to close out our check. This is the reason for 4 stars.

I will definitely be returning for the food if nothing else. My friend got lamb chops with seafood Mac and yams ($33 USD) while I got the smothered fried pork chop with baked mac and cabbage. ($25 USD) all entrees come with sweet potato corn bread

The drinks were way overpriced. I paid $47 for 3 shots THATS CRAZY ESPECIALLY FOR FAST EDDIES. Outside of that the space is cute, parking is ample, and the vibes vibed but I won’t ever be purchasing drinks while there again!

So I’ve always heard of Fast Eddie’s but never actually went. Upon going I can tell you one thing, this place is HUGE! The clientele that come there’s ranges from late 20s to mid 40s. While there they had a spades game, comedy show, and a band play all in the same night. The bartenders drinks were intensely strong! Omg let me tell you lol like EXTREMELY STRONG. The food will leave alot to be desired but food isn’t really the draw of this place. There is a main level as shown in the pictures and there is also a balcony where there is table service as well. Oh and they also have pool tables which were covered up while we were there.

Saw Rare Essence at Fast Eddie’s recently on a Friday night. Wasn’t too crowded. Sound was loud closer to the stage but still enjoyable!

Bartender was friendly. Hot buffalo wings were on point!

It would be cool if they had more lights on stage covering the band. Stage lighting seemed low compared to the rest of the venue. The show was still

Over priced and the food is terrible! They want $18 for a jack and coke in a small plastic cup. No thank you! Atmosphere is pretty cool depending on what you like.

The food and service was actually pretty good here during happy hour however, they nickle and dime you here. They charged us $4 for extra ranch, $3 for extra bread, and a $1/smash sauce—All without telling us. Never have I been charged for sauces before!!! The music was EXTREMELY loud. We really couldn’t hear each other at all.

If you’re not coming to see the go-go band, your business isn’t appreciated. Before the band arrives on Fridays or regular weekdays, the venue is slow, usually with no more than ten patrons at a time. It’s not an ideal place for happy hour.

During my experience this past Friday, a group of colleagues and I spent several hours buying drinks, averaging about one drink per hour before the band arrived. Around 9 o’clock, gentlemen in security shirts began to arrive for work. While we were drinking and listening to an overly recycled playlist, we were asked to step outside, leave our drinks, and get pat down. Upon re-entry, we were informed we had to pay a $30 cover charge to stay, even though we still had drinks left to finish. The lady at the door said we would have to take our drinks to the head if we didn’t want to pay the fee. When I asked for the business manager, she went to get security to escort us out. Upon departure, I requested water to combat the alcohol consumption before driving, but the business declined.

I will not recommend this location for just grabbing a drink and enjoying happy hour. However, you may have better luck if you’re looking to see a go-go band.

Ghetto and rude security outside checking people in. It was to crowded but it seems like they didn’t care. Guess it was about money. I will not be going back away to spend my birthday smh
