The quintessential greasy spoon on the 37 strip. Blast-from-the-past atmosphere is matched by textbook diner coffee and the freshest orange juice. Eggs Benedict seemed a bit under-seasoned on my last trip, but have been great in the past. Service is super friendly and attentive

New Jersey favorite! Service is outstanding and our waitress was so caring, kind, and thorough. Prices are incredible for the portions and the food is delicious and fresh. Quiet and cutely decorated interior. I absolutely will be coming back next time I’m in this area.

the wrap was great but i was disappointed with the fries (came without salt, and no salt would stick to it no matter how much i poured on it) and the pickle was fine. very busy but fast service! i think overall breakfast might be better here (which my friend corroborated)

I can’t believe that after all the millions of times we’ve been here, I’ve never left a proper review! We absolutely LOVE Fast Break. The service is always phenomenal, everyone is so friendly and welcoming.
I have a love/hate relationship with seeing it packed… I’m thrilled they’re so successful, but my hungry self sometimes struggles with the wait!
I miss living close by, but we still make the trip when it’s time for a great breakfast. The Hungry Human is to die for, and the breakfast quesadilla is another favorite.

Great diner to stop in on the way to Seaside. Friendly waitresses and great food portions. Great coffee as well. Definitely worth the stop.

We visited this Sunday for brunch for the first time; 2 adults and 1 teenager.
Really good food and a lively atmosphere. We had to wait 10 minutes for a free table they were so busy, but it was worth the wait. At just short of $20 a head the prices were reasonable for good quality.
Spanish omelette was really good, banana nut French toast was enjoyed by the teen (who could only manage half of it so really should have gotten the short stack version!), and simple pancakes. The pancakes were very light and fluffy; personally I like my pancakes with a little more chew but everyone else on the table said they were the best in town.
The diner was busy and the wait staff were maybe just on the brink of not being able to cope, but the server apologised and did say a member of staff had called in sick so they were short. No star deduction for that, it happens and they all were working very hard.
Good job, Fast Break. We’ll be back next time we’re in Toms River.

I had the pleasure of dining at Cindy’s Fast Break today. Their blueberry pancakes were equal to Jimmy’s in SSH and with the blueberries in the pancakes, perhaps a bit better. Bacon was very good as well. Portion sizes were more than expected. I was glad I chose the short stack.
The staff was friendly, warm and welcoming. The prices were comparable to Jimmy’s, and they accept credit cards for a small fee.
The decor was eclectic and while it works, I would suggest a Jersey Shore theme since it would give the establishment a better home town feel.

Burger was cold, no flavor and like shoe leather.
Had a side order of gravy was like water with white dots floating in it no flavor. The French fries were like salted splinters.
Avocado was brown with darker brown spots in it.
Bathroom was all black to hid all the dirt smelled atrocious and had no soap.
Aside from that was great.. for real the service was good the girl did a good job the food was just bad all around. Atmosphere was very upbeat.
