We spent our new year‘s eve in this restaurant and it was an unbelievable evening. The staff were so friendly and obliging, ensuring that we had a unforgettable evening! The food was excellent since they created something new that everyone should try since it’s absolutely fantastic (mix of sushi and veal piemontese)! The menu for 68€ was a fair price for what we got this evening. We will definitely come again next time!

We had a great time here (I’m writing this in English, but the rest of my table were native Italians). The proprietor was very kind and generous. The food was outstanding. The beef sushi was unique and delicious as were the dumplings. They have plenty of cooked meat dishes if you don’t want raw beef. My fellow diner thought the bao was good but not unique. This isn’t a an economical place to stuff yourself, but is a fun, original experience. The restaurant basically has two rooms with a total of 12-16 small tables that can be put together for larger groups. The proprietor said they were opening a location in Moscova, Milano this fall, so I’m sure we’ll check it out.

We bump into this restaurant by accident. The owners were very accommodating. Explained everything in English with every dish. We have ordered quite a lot of food, we thought they were small portions.
We even have the chitchat about her movie star daughter!

If you are into sushi, but not your traditional one. Try this restaurant!

I would definitely come back again!

Very nice owner and super tasty food! I took “La Prima Volta” that consisted of 3 dishes. It was delicious! Highly recommended! I don’t usually eat not traditional sushi, but those dishes are incredible tasty!

A wonderful and one of a kind dining experience. We had no idea what we were in for and it was amazing. Meat like we have never had before and a perfect wine pairing. A hidden gem worth trying!

Without a doubt, they deserve the excellent ratings. I love the “meat sushi concept”, paired with excellent service. Furthermore, they adapted the dishes to my wife’s gluten intolerance perfectly.

Interesting fusion between the sushi concept and the tasty fassona meat. First time st Fassushi, having a late lunch on last weekend before Christmas. Few people around, mainly focused in Christmas shopping. Perfect for us who could enjoy a slow meal with a perfect support by the waiter, explaining all dishes one by one. Menu is pretty reach and it is hard to choose. We went for the recommendation: a mix (named il viaggio) of small portions. Start was with the fassomakis, 5 different rolls based on rice, fassona, selection of cheese from piedmont and Lombardy and other ingredients balancing with the other ingredients. Tastes were very variable, from very delicate to super strong. Then we moved to a mix of fassoncini, small Tartares with mixed flavours, from very delicates
To the super tasty one with truffles. Then a sashimi (carpaccio accompanied by a songino salads) that we found a bit anonymous and less tasty compared to other courses due to salad and soja on top. To finish some delicate dumplings stuffed with meat completed the journey. All in all very satisfied, but not amazed. A smoked amber beer from a small producer was good to pair with the meat.
Venue is spacious and very cozy and located in the Brera of Como (via Borgovico), very comfortable if you come from the train station or the city centre. Personnel very supportive and carefully explaining the different courses. Will give another try soon, to focus on the tastes I liked more. Definitely recommended if you are a meat. Think twice if you do not like meat, since choices are pretty limited then. Price tag is adequate to the quality of the meat (fassona is super).

I recently had the chance to try out the much-talked-about meat sushi restaurant that everyone seemed to be raving about. As a fan of both raw beef and sushi, I was excited to dive into a menu solely dedicated to fassona beef in various forms. The restaurant’s sleek and modern interior set the stage for what I hoped would be a remarkable culinary journey.

First off, I must commend the exceptional quality of the fassona beef. Each bite was a testament to the superior meat used in crafting these sushi creations. The texture was melt-in-your-mouth tender, and the cuts were of top-notch quality. I particularly enjoyed the combinations that showcased the beef’s natural flavors, like the pairing with pickled tomatoes, which added a delightful tangy contrast to the richness of the meat.

However, my experience at this restaurant was a mix of highs and lows. The extensive menu, while impressive, might have been a tad too ambitious. Some variations hit the mark beautifully, while others fell a bit short. For instance, the marriage of grilled onion and beef was a culinary revelation – the smoky char of the onion complemented the meat flawlessly.

Yet, not every pairing was a home run. There were moments when certain flavors seemed to clash rather than harmonize. One such instance was a combination that promised truffle-infused delight but was overshadowed by an overpowering cheese element. The balance just wasn’t quite there, and it left me yearning for more of the subtlety I had initially hoped for.

On another positive note, the service was attentive and prompt.

All in all, my experience at this meat sushi restaurant was a mixed bag. The outstanding quality of the fassona beef undoubtedly stole the show, and some pairings were a symphony of flavors that I won’t soon forget. Yet, the overly ambitious menu occasionally led to combinations that didn’t quite hit the mark. With a bit of refinement and a focus on achieving a more consistent balance, this restaurant could truly become a standout in the culinary scene.

Be careful! Definitely a little bit of a tourist trap. I wanted to love this place. Although the waiter was very nice said he didn’t speak English very well. Okay I understand that. But when you ask if we want dessert and we say No … I’m pretty sure no is a universal language that everyone understands. The next thing he does is brings out ice cream on a plate and says here for you. I actually thought ok he doesn’t understand I REALLY don’t want dessert but he wanted to do a nice thing so I took a bite as to be gracious. Well jokes on me lol he charged me 7eu for the ice cream that I didn’t order. whatever didn’t care enough especially 7EU but then I also saw he charged us for three bottles of sparkling water. We only had two. I paid the bill and I left without saying anything. After spending two days flying with cancellations and having to change airlines and fly into different countries to get to my destination I didn’t have it in me to fight with anyone. Especially over $12. Anyway I figured I would just put it in a review instead. It wasn’t a honest mistake either. It was more of pulling a fast one trust me. He was slick. On another note after this I Personally am so glad I did not stay in Como the whole place feels like a very touristy area and they know it and take full advantage. Stay outside like we did in Colonno or Lenno. Beautiful classy and peaceful. The hospitality also is amazing. Totally different vibe.
