The food was fantastic and they had a good selection of German beers. We go the lamb sausage and chicken schnitzel, and everything was amazing. You order up at the bar and they bring your food to you, or you can sit at the bar and chat and eat as well. We went for lunch and it was relaxed and cozy, but they said if you’re more into night life and high-energy that it ramps up in the evenings on weekends. There’s something for everyone here!
Price per person: …
The restaurant, despite being in an ostensibly small space between its street blocks, is spacious and has plenty of seating. It wasn’t too busy when we went, either.
Our waitress was friendly, routinely ensuring that we felt satisfied with our visit and that our orders came to us correctly, and our food was delicious (I ordered the chicken schnitzel sandwich). I’d gladly come back to try something else, too.
I’m happy I gave business to Fassler Hall and recommend stopping by it if you’re in the downtown area.
PS: Princh Hagen says hi 🙂
I had a couple of German beers, the Spartan (Oktoberfest) and the Warsteiner (Pilsner) they have a pretty good selection of beers and a full bar. I was surprised by the full bar, usually German halls don’t have a full bar.
I must say I was here on a Saturday around 1:30pm so there wasn’t much going on…but I feel that Tulsa in general have this vibe.
I saw they have duck fat fries in the menu and I decided to order those…would I order again? Probably no. Do they taste different yes! And that’s what I was looking for…I wanted to try something different. I feel the fries will taste way better with a jalapeño cheese, the server agreed.
Decided to try out a new brunch place because our favorite brass band, King Cabbage was playing here. It’s a pub, so people were packed in but it adds to the atmosphere.
A breakfast burrito passing through caught my eye and we ordered the chicken and waffles and the breakfast burrito. The burrito was amazing! Maybe a touch of salsa for some additional spice, but the peppers egg and sausage with the cheese sauce was just fantastic! I cleaned my plate and would definitely order it again!
I love German beer, so I was excited to see how many beers they had. I had one that was a little out of season, so it was the bottom of the keg. Will be back.
Was not impressed by the experience. You have to go and order the food at the counter and wait at the table. I ordered the Chicken Schnitzel which is basically a chicken sandwich. The chicken patty was stiff and hard. Duck fries were good. The flavor of the sandwich was not that good. The only impressive thing is that they have lot of hot sauces . Overall, it was just average
