I have come here plenty over the last 15 years, even after the 2020 world event. The owner is very personable when he is here. Amy was amazing today. Professional and very sweet and kind. She was very thorough in her service. Even the busser Seth was very professional and took my dishes in a timely manner as I finished them.
It does look like the prices went up again since the last time I was here a few months back, but the burgers are still real beef, and their food quality has NOT been compromised.
I cannot recommend this place strong enough.

We had a wonderful delicious meal at Farwood!! Our waitress, Remy was very attentive, helpful and overall did a great job in helping us with our meal and time at Farwood!! I really appreciated when Remy brought my garlic mashed potatoes she very kindly mentioned I could add some extras to it if I wanted. We really enjoyed our meal at Farwood and really liked having a nice waitress! Thank you!!

The steak dip was delicious and the creme brulee was also very good. I enjoyed my IPA on tap and the coffee was just fine. I love the ambiance there–we got my favorite seat with the two person booth and the sconce on the wall. Bread and butter was good, and so was the garden salad and fig vinaigrette. Nothing was so-so…very happy we stopped by. Our waitress was also very nice.

Best Ceasar salad I’ve had in a while! Chicken was very good quality. I was hungry and exhausted from my drive from Seattle to LA and needed something other than fast food. This was definitely the right stop! And to top it off all the service was amazing and considerate. Very sweet servers.

For what I consider a high-end restaurant, the prices are modest, the servers and the owners are very friendly, and it’s a wonderful place for people in Orland and the nearby region to go to. The menu is eclectic. I just ate there the other day and had some pokey which was supposed to be on wontons but I said I didn’t like wontons and so they put it on a bed of very nice fresh salad. I can’t recommend this place highly enough, and anytime I pass through Orland (I live in Chico) at meal time I always stop there.

Got a salad and it was okay at best. Steak overcooked, smelled a bit funny with some vegetable oil.
Too much fried mushrooms and onions – has hard to taste anything else.
It’s definitely not $26 salad.

Went for lunch. We ordered a burger with mushrooms and a French dip. Meals both were basic: burger and French dip wasn’t anything jump for joy about but wasn’t horrible. Service was excellent and atmosphere was nice. I am curious about their dinner plates but will probably stick to having just lunch here.

My first visit to this restaurant was delightful. The food was excellent, and the atmosphere was wonderfully quaint. The service was, overall, exceptional; the only minor oversight was that our server forgot to bring us the bread and butter. It was a lovely experience, and I highly recommend it.
