I used to be a big fan of Farofa. At work, we loved it so much that we regularly ordered 10+ meals at a time. Unfortunately, something has changed.
The quality has gone significantly downhill over the last two orders. I specifically requested medium well, yet the steak keeps arriving medium rare. This isn’t a small difference — it’s a completely different temperature and texture.
Can someone please explain to the chef the difference between medium well and medium rare?
This is really disappointing because we genuinely supported and recommended this place before. Sadly, this will be my last order, and I can no longer recommend it.

THE BEST and the cheapest meat around Miami metro region. Very fast service, very nice staff and the meat is insane. Honestly I don’t think it even makes sense to buy steak to cook myself. The price is practically the same as in the store, minus wasting your time on shopping and cooking. Will come here again and again!

Today I visited this restaurant as a loyal customer who frequently buys lunch for my team of 12 people. I came in with my service dog, who provides emotional support. The manager, with a poker face, asked what kind of service dog I had.
When I clarified it was for emotional support, she stated that didn’t qualify for entry.
I offered multiple solutions, like placing my order by phone and quickly coming in to pick it up, or even having them bring the food outside to me. Each suggestion was refused. As someone who regularly brought in business for a 12-person team, it’s disappointing to lose that relationship over such inflexibility. Ultimately, they’ve lost our business, and I hope they reconsider their approach to accommodating service animal in the restaurant also highly recommended to change management with no people skills.

Reasonably priced, tasty, and nice quality meat.
Fernanda was very friendly and accomodating.
My girlfriend and I enjoyed a great meal.
A few days later, my girlfriend realized that she forgot her purse at the restaurant.
We drove back and spoke with Rocio.
She recognized the missing purse described and gave it back to my girlfriend.
Kudos to Rocio and the whole honest and friendly staff at Farofa.

Listen, if you’re craving meat but what a somewhat fast casual touch to it this place is where you need to be. It’s a small place so service and wait times depends on how busy it is but it’s always so well worth the way. I’ve been coming here for years and I’ve never once felt like I had a bad experience with the quality of the food.

We ate here based on the recommendation of a friend and wow it did not disappoint at all! The picanha steak was absolutely delicious. We like it so much we split a second serving. Probably my only knock is that we couldn’t eat any of the sides but we do have several food intolerances so I can’t sing them too much for that. The service was very friendly and helpful (we called in advance to check for ingredients and they were happy to help). We really enjoyed eating here and would definitely eat here again if we were in the area.
