If you’re looking for Thai, this is some of the best you’re gonna find in the city and regionally They do some fun dishes that you wouldn’t experience elsewhere. The atmosphere is super fun and playful and very photographable. The service is always consistent and good and delightful and the food is just stunning. I love all the appetizers. I love many of the entrées that are creative and unique. You really can’t go wrong here.

Hands down, one of the BEST Thai meals I have had, EVER. Partner got the Crying Tiger which was so tender it just melted in your mouth. I went with an old stand-by of Pad Thai… but even though the flavors were familiar, they were elevated, fresh, DELICIOUS!! The drinks were equally awesome. This dude didn’t win Chopped for nothin’… there are skills in this kitchen and I’m so thankful I got to experience it. Make reservations, it fills fast after 5:00pm. You’re sitting very close to the folks around you and inevitably, you’ll likely end up all part of the same party as you compare dishes and exchange exclamations of bliss with the first bites. So, if you’re looking for a quiet, intimate meal, go before 5:00…. but go!!

Everything on the menu at Farmhouse is 1000% recommendable! It’s a perfect Thai restaurant with super friendly employees and gorgeous aesthetic! They always have a really great outdoor presence during the Hawthorne Street Fair with so many Thai street food options. Farmhouse is that special place you can take people when they are visiting Portland when you want to impress. It’s the perfect comfort food to get takeout from when you’ve got a sick kiddo. Oh, and they have super yummy cocktails as well, like the Heated Rivalry! Super yummy!

Our party of 6 came to the Hawthorne location for my daughter’s birthday dinner. Such a fun atmosphere with different rooms styled in fun and photogenic ways. Our food was amazing!! We had a calamari appetizer with delicious cilantro lime sauce. Basil bomb was a perfect way to get all the meat options, the crispy duck was done just right and so moist in the inside. Lobster pad Thai, crab fried rice(w real crab) and the pad see ew were fresh and tasty. Everything was fresh and piping hot when served. The cocktails were also a big hit.

Visiting from out of town and we were craving Thai food. Came across Farmhouse Thai and so glad we visited! We got the 24 hr beef noodle soup and the green curry. Both were described on the menu as medium spicy and it’s an accurate description. My husband and I eat a lot of spicy food and was glad the spice level wasn’t “watered down”. Food was delicious and we would come back the next time we visit Portland!

We randomly found this place walking around. And I’m dog glad we did! Best Thai we’ve had in the city. Absolutely delicious. Don’t miss the thai tea, sausages and 24hr noodle soup.

I had a great experience here! I ordered the Pad Thai and the Basil Fried Rice, and both dishes were excellent in terms of taste, quality, and portion size. Everything felt fresh and well-prepared, and the flavors were spot on.
They also offered a complimentary Thai iced tea for writing a Google review, which was a nice touch—and honestly, the tea was really good too. Even the to-go boxes stood out; they were sturdy and good quality, which I always appreciate.
As for the ambiance, the restaurant is located inside a house, which personally isn’t my preferred setting. It wasn’t bad, just not my vibe. That said, the food and overall experience definitely made up for it.
I’d absolutely come back again for the food!

My sisters and I happened across this amazing joint while checking out the area. Not what we’ve experienced in a typical Thai restaurant but WAY BETTER! If you have the opportunity, try this place out. We ordered family style for meals and dessert. What a fun adventure! Pett was our server and he was incredible with suggestions and helping guide us to eat the dishes how they were meant! The picture is of our almost empty dessert dishes.

We visited as a group of four adults, and the experience was excellent. The restaurant has a cozy atmosphere and wasn’t crowded, making it a comfortable place to enjoy a meal. The prices are on the higher side, but the quality of the food absolutely makes it worth it. Highly recommend, and we’ll definitely visit again the next time we’re in Portland.

Really delicious food and friendly staff. One of the best papaya salads I’ve ever had. Tangy, sweet and spicy. We highly recommend the 24hr beef noodle soup and the Kao Soi. We will definitely be back.
