This is a perfect place to celebrate a special event and has the prefect springtime/festive ambience. The food plating was top notch. I would say the cuisine was a Thai fusion. Would recommend the short rib (the best dish we had). The lobster pad Thai was a solid classic but got a lot a brownie points just by having a lobster on top. The flavors of the pineapple fried rice were unique. I would also recommend trying any of the sticky rice desserts. They were amazing

Brought a GF here on a Saturday for her birthday celebration. We started with a Thai iced tea, fresh coconut, fried egg rolls and then followed it with the crab fried rice and veggie/ tofu yellow curry. Everything was so delicious and good size portions!! She was super happy and I’ll definitely be back. I’ve been several of their sister restaurants including the one at Jack London square, Son & Garden in SF, Montclair and Menlo Park. This location for Thai food was so pretty that we had to try it, and it definitely did not disappoint. They have big tables for large parties, and the food is super authentic.

The cutest place! Drinks are so fun & tasty! I was there for a work dinner, so we ordered a bunch of things. My favorites were the pad Thai and yellow curry. For apps, we had samosas and spring rolls, which were also very good!

This is one of the places where everything looks good from outside and in images but as soon as you step in the restaurant, you realize it’s not worth it and not at all apt for a second visit. The ambiance is very appealing but do not fall for it. They are highly disrespectful towards their customers. They have one the worst seating policy in the entire restaurant industry. We went there for a friends birthday party and had a reservation for 12, pre-booked and paid for the reservation. However, they wouldn’t allow you to seat if at least 8 of the 12 are there. In some cases they need everyone in the party to be present before you can seat. The food is average and they got the food before the drinks. Wouldn’t allow us to keep our gifts at one corner of the restaurant. We had to beg them for a different table. I would highly recommend not planning an occasion here. They also have a branch in San Francisco and it’s the same case there as well. One of the worst policy here is if you are celebrating your birthday and you bring a cake from outside, they charge you $2.5/per person, so in a party of 12, we were charged $30 just for having a cake and cutting it by ourselves. They would waive that if you order deserts from their menu. Classic example of a restaurant where ambiance is good but the restaurant policies are worst. Most of us promised never to come here second time or recommend anyone. The restaurant also shared the name Son & Garden for brunch. Same restaurants just two different names.

Good place to catch up with friends and family. Cozy restaurant with floral ambience. Food was good. I loved their lobster fried rice and beef noodles. To top it off we got the dessert platter and the rice pudding was awesome and the best out of all that they had in the platter. The food was less to no spicy. Looking forward to eat here again. It’s just opposite to menlo train station.

This is good place to visit if you would like to post instagrams as you go. Food wise, not very impressive. They have a lot of spicy dishes and the spicy level can’t be changed. Be careful that some of them could be very very spicy.

10/10 recommend for lunch or dinner! They deserve 5 stars across the board because every dish we ordered was flavorful. I was impressed with everything we ordered. This place does it family style so it’s perfect if you’re going with a group. Just gives you another reason to order almost everything off their menu lol highly recommend making reservations beforehand as they can get very busy.

Food was decent. The samosas were amazing. The yellow curry sauce makes that dish. The Thai tea was cool and pretty good. I got the pad thai which could have been better but was still good. The service was fine. We asked for a small dipping size of the yellow curry sauce (like what we got with our samosas) to enhance the flavor of the pad thai, but they said we need to pay for the full dish if we wanted it. I think that’s a bit extreme, so we didn’t appreciate that. The atmosphere of the restaurant was great. The place is beautiful, especially inside. If you come here definitely ask to be seated inside. Unfortunately the restaurant is located in a terrible place right next to the train. So during our 1.5 hour the train’s horn was so ridiculously loud it startled us a few times. It killed the atmosphere and vibe. So I don’t recommend sitting outside and request to be seated inside, especially because it’s decorated much better. I think if I was seated indoors I would have had a better experience.

This place has lots of decor to upgrade the ambiance, which are really nice as you can see from the pictures. The food are on the expensive side and they arrive in instagram worthy presentation, again see pictures. How do they taste? Most were really great, and others are average. I wouldn’t say any of them is the best but they have some unique dishes worth trying out.

Tried out this place after a friend’s recommendation… Came here for late lunch on a rainy Sunday evening and we got a table almost instantly.
