We enjoyed a family dinner. It’s a comfy, family-friendly place to eat. My favorite was the onion rings – I’ll definitely order again! Our burgers were well-made, and the portions were good. I’ve seen Facebook posts of cocktails and other daily specials, so we’ll likely be back to try more of their menu.

We were up from Florida. My cousin recommended Home Plate. They were closed so we Googled what was open and close. This came up with good reviews so we decided we would try it. Glad we did. Best service we have had while visiting the area. Food was good and we both enjoyed our meal. Also got to meet some folks who just moved back from our neck of the woods. Would recommend if you are in the area!

I have never had a better Reuben in my life. Staff is amazing, atmosphere is welcoming and comfortable and food & drink are all 15 out of 10. If you ever are in Palestine, IL make absolutely sure you stop in. You will not be disappointed.

Nice little diner in a quiet little town. The food was great, the service was friendly. We visit Palestine on Labor Day weekend every year for the rodeo and yard sales, this will be on our list of places to eat again next year.

Was pretty good… My cornflake chicken said slaw on top but that ment lettuce and tomato… My husband had the jalapeno sandwich it was too small didn’t even come to the edge of the bun… Sliders were awesome… Onion rings were ok… We would come back and try more…

My husband and I treated our son and daughter in law to lunch for their anniversary. The food was good, but I was disappointed that they didn’t have a Sunday Special. I was looking forward to a Sunday meal, not just sandwiches and fries.
