I’ve been working here in Plains, MT at the hospital. Not much here but it’s pretty and charming in its own way. I decided to eat a real dinner tonight and not leftover hospital food. It was delicious! For this small, little town, this Cafe had a ton of charm, you feel right at home, the service was epic, and the food was great! Highly recommend.

We stopped for lunch on your way through town. It was absolutely delicious! The service was fantastic as well! I ordered the Reuben with the tomato basil soup. My boyfriend got the Clubhouse with Clam Chowder. The soup was amazing and we were only able to eat half of the huge sandwiches before we were full! Took the rest for leftovers. I would go out of the way to eat there again! Well done, homemade food!

Usually good food and great service. If there is a problem they are happy to fix it. On this occasion the potatoes were bland and the steak was burned on the bottom. Waitress replaced my meal with fish and chips. Very courteous and helpful servers.

Nice place to eat, food was great service was excellent. I was kinda shocked, I was told this place sucked. So we finally decided to give it a try and I’m glad we did. I had the western burger med rare, it was juicy packed with flavor the fries were the best. I can totally say this place beats the Circle when it comes to burgers. We look forward to coming back and trying something new.

we took a brief halt here on our way to seattle from GNP and we ordered coffee hot chocolate(it was amazing) we also tried their chicken noodle soup which was a bowl full of warm hug in amazing snowy season!! Service was really good with friendly staff!! we loved this place!! also it was clean and you can sip your hot chocolate by the window with a beautiful view!!!

I had a Ruben sandwich which was good. The French fries were very good, hot and crispy. Wife had the fish and chips. The fish was just like fries, great.

Even with some great reviews, Farmhouse exceeded our expectations!
First, the staff was terrific! They were cheerful, helpful and got our order exactly right.
And the food! The menu items were common, but the flavors were fantastic. And the values (price vs quantity) were frankly shocking. I haven’t found food that was so plentiful and affordable in a couple years!
I had the Triple Decker Club and it’s one of the best I’ve had in years. Plus it was big enough that I was able to share it with my 20 year old son and we were both quite full with some delicious fries left over.
It tried another son’s French Dip, which was equally delicious with some very nice seasoning.
I also got to try the Chicken Strips which were tender and very juicy.
We’ll definitely stop by again on a future trip to the area!

Staff was awesome and very helpful after we had a long day and were grumpy. Food was wonderful. Here was the best thing. *This is not a negative on the staff. I local member of the community who works at another restaurant saw they were under staff that day as it was so busy. She jumped in and helped. She brought us extra water and help get us extra items. She had worked there previously and just wanted to help out because she loved the place. Truly why I love small towns. Stop in, sit down and have a great meal. I was treated like I stopped in there everyday for coffee. GREAT
