Wife enjoyed a Philly with a cup of broccoli cheese soup.
I went for the patty melt and rings.
All was amazing and fresh.
Actually, drove in from Des Moines and was hankering for cherry pie.
The cupboard was bare.

Farmer’s Walnut Street Diner is a quintessential small-town diner. The food is exactly what you want to find in a place like this: authentic classic American quisine, prepared with an experienced hand. My breakfast was just right: neither over- or underdone, with a portion that was a good value for the price but not overly generous. All in all, it was the type of down-to-earth experience you would expect to find in a little diner somewhere in Iowa.

I have traveled to Atlantic Iowa twice meeting my grandkids there and we have eaten at this diner both times. The food is good. The service is fantastic. The atmosphere is good, the really good with the kids. I would definitely recommend this tiny little diner.
