I love this place.
I could sit here all day drinking coffee and soaking up the atmosphere. The food was delicious and the service was awesome. My waitress was funny, and took the time to talk.

My boyfriends food was good but, the country fried steak didn’t come with gravy even though he asked for it. Had to wait for that before he could eat. I got the chipped beef and gravy. Good flavor but, hardly any cup beef gravy on my toast like, barely. One piece of toast had nothing on it. My eggs were over easy, they were cooked perfectly and the grits were excellent. Service was okay, our waitress wasn’t paying attention. We waited with our coffee cups to be refilled with them sitting on the end of the table so she would notice. Very nice and pleasant though

It used to be good until new owners. Now they cant get your order right, food is cold sometimes, they dont check on you but 1 time before you get your food. If you need something you have to go ask. Terrible terrible now

Great welcome and service was prompt and 100% accurate.
Had a special of the day and it was very tasty. Only issue, the mashed potatoes tasted like a mix between fresh and instant.

It’s a small town diner. You’d be in the wrong to expect a fancy, upscale dining experience. I tried to manage my expectation when I came in. It is better than the other handful of fast food joints in town.
Staff is nice and they try to serve quickly. Food is made to order so understandable if it takes a bit to arrive at the table. Coffee was weak. But some people may like that, especially when you can see the light shine through during each pour/refill.

Farmers Cafe is located in downtown Blackstone right on the main street. They are open early for breakfast and have all the normal breakfast fare. The service is quick and friendly and the prices are very reasonable. They also serve lunch and dinner which is an assortment of typical country eats. I would recommend stopping by for breakfast if you are in the area.

Thought I would try the Turkey dinner with stuffing, mashed potatoes and Lima beans. Don’t. Turkey was awful, Lima beans nasty, mashed potatoes were flavorless. The only thing good on my plate was the stuffing. Very disappointed.
