Finally got to try this restaurant out. While it wasn’t the “silver bullet for burgers” I hoped it would be,it wasn’t bad. My son felt it was a little overpriced the caliber of the food, and I guess I’d have to agree , but I didn’t feel quite as strongly about it as he did. We got the Macaroni and Cheese appetizers and a couple of bacon burgers. The only reason I probably won’t go back anytime soon is because of the distance and parking vs. everything else. The staff was great. The atmosphere of the restaurant was equally great, and as I said, the food was good, but was probably priced a bit higher. For two burgers and the macaroni and cheese appetizer, it was $46. Now if I lived down the street, I’d no doubt give them another visit.

The selection of whiskey is amazing, which is why the rating is 4 stars and not 3. Service during my dinner was pretty good overall. The burgers seem to be their specialty and I was a little disappointed there. I have the That’s what Brie Said. The Bourbon Pear sauce, prosciutto and Brie were a very good topping. The hamburger meat itself did not have much flavor. Truffle tots seem to lack the Truffle. In short for a drink I’ll stop again, for a burger I think I’ll pass.

I had this placed saved since 2019 when I saw the diners drive in and dives episode on food network. Then the world shut down and now we finally were able to make our way up to this restaurant. The atmosphere was great. The resturant was smaller than we envisioned, but it is clean and the service was great! Staff were attentive, cocktails were on point, and the burgers were juicy and flavorful. A great all around and worth the drive from Dover DE! We recommend a reservation. When we arrived the wait was 1.5 hours if you didn’t have one. Parking was a bit tricky, but we found a free lot near poppycock tattoo.

Wow! We don’t venture up into Wilmington very often, but this place was great! We had the buffalo wings and Moo Caliente burger with fries and tots. The best tots I have had, hands down. They are seasoned and I wanted to just eat them all! The wings were good and crispy, not too spicy. The burger was spicy. The pickles were made there. The special cocktails are made by drink “nerds” and so fancy, complex, and delicious. The staff and the patrons are all pretty chill and open to the experience. The whiskey flight was amazing (they have ALL the whiskey). You will not be disappointed by this place!

Good beer options, the hamburger was excellent and so was the potato appetizer, it was actually delicious! I gave it 4 stars because even though the restaurant wasn’t busy the waiter wasn’t patient. He was polity, but the experience felt rushed. We would have ordered more drinks, but he was ready to give us the check since we got there.

I take recommendations given to me seriously, as should you when I say this location is highly recommended. The food was absolutely delicious and the staff is so friendly. Although we did not have some of the classic menu options, the recommended food we did have was heavily. Be prepared for meter parking or find a parking garage. I will be visiting again to try something else off the menu.

I’m not from around here, but I’ve heard a lot of great things bout this place, and just had to give it a try. I had the FTC, and was surely not disappointed. Topped with sautéed onions, cheese, FTC sauce, pickles and thick-cut bacon, this is most certainly a burger worth your time. I took one bite and fell in love. My hands struggled to contain all the burger juices and flavoring, because this burger is jam-packed with bacon and beef. Too much burger, not enough bun!

Had an absolutely phenomenal time. Came in to kill some time before my bus out of Wilmington. The bartender was really cool and personable, also extremely knowledgeable about the selection they have on the shelves (and I do mean selection). To eat I got there August specialty burger that was delicious and perfectly well thought out. Whether you’re coming here for drinks or a bite I’d wholeheartedly recommend it. The next time I’m anywhere in the vicinity of this establishment, you can be sure that I’ll be stopping in.

Went here for the first time recently – Loved it! Their collection of bourbon and whiskey was great, cocktails were very good and flavorful. Food was awesome, I ordered the brie burger (can’t remember the specific name) and it was cooked perfectly. Also ordered a spiked S’mores milkshake and it was so good. Definitely coming back!
