We were in town visiting family. Our family went her to order food to go. We had fried catfish, shrimp, chicken and fries. The server was nice and friendly. The food was good and hot!!! We definitely enjoyed the food. We went on a Friday evening and left Detroit on Saturday afternoon. On the drive back to Georgia we snacked on the leftovers. The fish and chicken was still good at room temperature! Highly recommend and will definitely return when in the area.

He charged me $1 per item because I paid with a credit card. On top of that I ordered catfish and he gave me tilapia instead. It was greasy and no seasoning. Very disappointed. I paid $17, which was $2 more than what I should. And it seems the grease that was used is old.

Menu on web shows 2 pc salmon for $8, some how I was charged $17.97 for 2 pc salmon and fries. Fish was over cooked, really fishy, and dry, ended up throwing it away. The fries were ok, but not worth $18. Will not return.
Also, I called the order in 10 minutes before driving there and had to wait in drive thru for 20 minutes. I don’t think they started my order until I paid. Plenty other options in the area

Delicious fish in a challenging environment. This restaurant is in a tough area in Detroit but that is no fault of the proprietors. The food is delicious and an excellent value. I got a large tray of perch and a cod meal to go.

The owner was so nice to me, He made my catfish, shrimp, okra and legs and wingdings to perfection, Everything was fresh, hot and tasty the grease was fresh, And he was the only one their today running a one man show in this 98° weather! Good Bless this Restaurant.
