FARM has been dedicated to sustainability since its founding in 2008. Located in the historic Oddfellows building, we preserved original artifacts to honor Bloomington’s heritage. We use biodegradable and compostable to-go containers, cups, and utensils. Our FARMproducts, like Hard Working Mustard and Hot Sauces, are crafted in Columbus, Indiana, from Chef Daniel’s recipes. We source local and seasonal ingredients, grow herbs, and forage wild foods. FARMbloomington also recycles extensively and supports the local arts.

He had steak(ordered med rare came med well but had good flavor) eggs(cooked as ordered), and potatoes(good). We shared the humus which was super good on the crackers and carrots. I had the pizza and paid extra for sausage. It had good crust with decent topping. Pesto was bland and not good on it. We had reservations but will not be back because of the material they had hanging in their window that was announced relationships desires. Does that have to be announced and displayed? There wasnt even a piece of material that represented the country the lived in. The staff was super nice and will look up the history of the building because it was cool. Did not like coming out to a bunch of people yelling to get rid of employees instead of the laws they enforce but love they were staying on the sidewalk. The beer on tap was amazing. Had a creamy flavor.

Lugar burger was good- the meat was great and well seasoned. The bacon was tough and really rubbery.
The salad was full of goodies, but the kale wasn’t seasoned or dressed enough. The chicken was tough.
The chicken leek soup had good flavor, but I got some bones
The potato salad was perfectly seasoned

Outstanding dining experience at FARM Bloomington! As a shared dish the famous garlic chili fries were served. Just delicious! The NY strip steak was cooked to perfection – beautifully seared medium with incredible flavor. The beef tenderloin was equally impressive, tender and seasoned just right with crisp cellophane noodles on top.

Don’t miss the three meat lasagna, it has the perfect kick and layers of rich, savory goodness. The noodles with shrimp were another highlight, perfectly balanced with fresh seafood and expertly prepared pasta.

Special shoutout to our FARMhand Emma who made the evening truly memorable. Her sense of humor was spot-on, timing was impeccable, and she struck the perfect balance of being attentive without hovering. You can tell she genuinely cares about creating a great experience.

FARM Bloomington delivers on both exceptional food and service. Highly recommend for a special night out or any time you want farm-to-table excellence done right!

Food is overrated. The pesto pizza doesn’t have much flavor despite being bright green. The regular burger was dry. The bacon in the BLT was over-cooked. The garlic fries have too much lime juice. The Buffalo burger was pretty good, though. Server was nice & helpful. The restaurant is neat, but I took off 2 stars because I looked up once at the large TV on the wall & they were showing a naked stripper. Probably wasn’t intentional, but please keep public things PG. There are kids around.

Pictures look good but it was bad…

I went with a group of five people. We had reservations and stopped by while passing through the campus. Honestly, the only positive interaction we had was when the hostess greeted us and walked us to our table everything after that was disappointing.

Our food took forever to arrive. Our table was right next to the kitchen, and we could literally see our plates just sitting there getting cold. It wasn’t even a complicated order we all had burgers. When they finally arrived, they were cold and just not good. The potato salad that came with them was not it, and it honestly felt like a strange combination (cold potato sour salad). On top of that, adding cheese to a burger was an extra $4–$5, which felt excessive.

The service was equally bad. Our waitress came to take our order and later to drop off the food, but never once checked in on us. We tried getting her attention multiple times, but it seemed like she was avoiding our table, even though we saw her helping other tables. The restaurant wasn’t even busy maybe three other families and there were other staff around, yet no one came by to check on us.

Overall, it was a negative experience. I would not recommend this place to anyone. The food and the vibes are just not it. Go somewhere else.

Fabulous restaurant! Good selection of craft beers, they even sell Guiness. Garlic fries were great and we struggled to finish them between 3 of us! Rest of food was of a high standard and the IPAs were a bonus, also friendly prompt service made for a great evening

Stopped in while visiting IU to give a talk and had a fantastic dinner with my hosts. Brussel sprouts as an appetizer we’re great and I had the Tokyo eats Thai entree (a spicy fusion cut of beef cooked perfectly). Decent selection of beer on tap. Would definitely come again.

Always wanted to come here for the Garlic Fries ($11) and I was not disappointed! We shared it among three, but honestly, enough Appetizer for 6! The drinks were great! I had a Cocktail ($16) which was memorable and Friday Salmon ($31) as the main, which was exceptional. We were St the bar as we didn’t make a early reservation (It books out a lot) and the staff there was the best. Really enjoyed a lot and can’t wait to come back for more!

Great menu and delicious food❤️ the ketchup was so good I bought a bottle to take home . So nice to have more than 1 option for vegetarian or vegan. The garlic fries super good no leftovers we ate them all. Thanks much to the owner

This is a very unique “American” restaurant. Even when it comes to ketchup, they have an in house made recipe with a much thicker consistency than normal ketchup. We ordered the Bison Burger, French Style Chicken, and their Garlic Fries as those were what was recommended to us. The quality of the bison patty was tremendous, and far superior to a typical burger patty. That was probably the only part of the meal that I would highly recommend. The rest of our meal was fine but probably not worth spending $80+ for 2 people. We also did not order any drinks. Our waiter was great!
