We stopped by Farm Up Table for a nice dinner before heading next door for a show. We didn’t have reservations on the busy Friday evening but luckily got a seat at the bar! The vibe and energy of the place was awesome, with a really welcoming and positive atmosphere. After some cocktails, we had the scallops, which were to die for. Really nice crisp exterior with a delicious brown sauce. The fried chicken entree really hit the spot, a comforting classic. I’ll definitely stop back in when I come back to Thomas.

Come to this restaurant!!! We were lucky enough to be recommended Farm Up Table yesterday, called to make a reservation, and were thrilled to be sitting in the restaurant having an absolutely decadent experience. We started with the crab balls, which were so perfectly cooked, crispy, and delicious, with the perfect pairing sauce. I got the half Cuban, which was just showstopping, you have to come try this sandwich, and the portion is so generous! I also got the truffle fries with it, which were so incredible, perfectly cooked and so so tasty. My boyfriend got the chicken sandwich, which was absolutely amazing, also generous portion size. My best friend got the sliders, which taste like the best slider you get at the cookout. We floated out of this restaurant. The service was amazing, atmosphere was great, and we already are planning to come back and try the rest of the menus.

A small hole in the wall place on the main street in the Davis/Thomas area of West Virginia. Limited options, but what they do serve, they have perfected.
The food was beyond amazing. I had the Pickled Pork Cuban and my wife had the loaded grilled cheese.
It was absolutely one of the best meals I have had that was advertised as farm fresh to table.
One interesting thing about my sandwich was the pickled part. It had pickles, as you’d imagine, but it also had pickled squash, which was a surprising treat.
If you are ever in Davis/Thomas and want something delicious, you can’t do wrong going to Farm Up Table.

A welcome respite from the burgers, sandwiches and pizza rolls around the area. The chef really knows their flavors and food. We dined for dinner and ordered the fried chicken and shrimp gnocchi. The chicken was double cooked, soft and tender on the inside and crunchy on the outside. The gnocchi was very obviously handmade. So tender and pillowy soft. Highly recommend this amazing gem in Thomas.

Small home run restaurant with daily fresh menu. We went in Memorial Day for lunch around 12:30 and it was not busy yet. But it gets busy pretty quick. Their mushrooms risotto is good, and so does the burger. The burger is very juicy and flavorful. The broccoli salad is tasty. Not impressed by the crispy chicken or the salad. The French fries is locally made. It does not come with any of the main dish and needs to be ordered separately. I would say this is a solid American food restaurant. Nothing amazing but taste pretty good if you are looking for traditional flavors.

Upon entering, you can tell that this restaurant offers class by way of decor and the playing jazz music. The menu items are elevated through creativity and are inspired by Chef Tiffany, who also happens to be a West Virginia Chef Ambassador. She also creates signature cocktails daily. Our server Darlene, was attentive to our every need and very engaging with all of the quests. Our dinners were heavenly, which is what West Virginia is all about!

After we visited Blackwater Falls, we searched online and found this restaurant. So we decided to come for a quick lunch.
The restaurant is on a small town with some nice buildings. The setting is pretty unique and neat though it’s quite a small with small limited seatings. The 6 of us had to split and sit at 2 tables.
Service was good. Food was delicious with really big portions and very reasonable prices. We all enjoyed our meals.

The day I visited they were severely understaffed and the place was packed; it was a two person show. so our experience probably not representative of what’s typical here. This is a great restaurant with fresh ingredients but for us the food that day was not worth the money we paid and how much we had to wait. It felt overpriced at the end.
The Ricotta Gnocchi was delicious and flavorful, but the sauce could be thicker. The steak was undercooked for my liking and cold; given we had already waited a long time I didn’t send it back. I imagine they would have corrected it.

Very good food! Everything we ordered was delicious! The fried chicken was so crispy. The bread was so good. We wanted to try everything on the menu. This restaurant is small so make sure you call to make a reservation.

Upon our trip to Davis/Thomas area, Farm Up Table was on our list of places we definitely wanted to try. We may have been a bit disappointed I guess.
We both got the Crunchy Clucker. The breading around the outside of the sandwich was really good! I wish it was all like that. The middle was very thin and soggy like it way have been sitting in oil/pan or something. Good flavor though!
Service and atmosphere was a bit disappointing as well. Very dry and not personable. “Are you ready” is not a great way to lead your introduction to a table. They were busy (I understand) but makes pushing the cattle through the cattle barn seem more noticeable. Also, congested too. Awkward layout.
