I had seen this bakery several times and then looked them up online and saw they made fresh milled bread and was excited to try them. They did not disappoint. My toddler and I got the chicken pot pie hand pie and a cupcake to enjoy for lunch and it was so yummy. The gentleman man was so kind and understanding to my little one. Then we bought a loaf of bread and it was some of the best. It was soft and fresh. Highly recommend visiting them.

Super cute bakery! We really wanted to love our purchase, but we were disappointed. I bet some of the items are spectacular and they all look beautiful! We got raspberry/vanilla cake, and eclair, a vanilla cupcake with chocolate frosting and an almond croissant. The eclair was delicious and fresh and definitely our favorite. Everything else just tasted like butter. Obviously there’s lots of butter in baked goods, but the cake didn’t taste like vanilla or raspberry, the cupcake was fine but nothing spectacular and the croissant, while big and beautiful, was also lacking any flavor. If we give another try, I’d probably go for a savory item.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Farm to Cake Bakery Review
Walking into Farm to Cake Bakery might genuinely be one of the best-smelling moments of my life—I wish I could bottle that aroma and take it home. The case is packed with gorgeous, mouthwatering goodies that make it almost impossible to choose.
The hand pies are to die for—the crust is everything: flaky, golden, crisp, buttery, and absolutely delicious. Their bread is phenomenal too, made with fresh-milled flour and organic ingredients that you can truly taste in every bite.
On top of all that, the staff is incredibly welcoming, friendly, and genuinely helpful. It feels like walking into a little pocket of warmth and good vibes.
I’m already counting down until my next visit.

✨Five star everything ✨ Found this gem during our yearly post-Thanksgiving trip to the NC mountains and once we did, we went back every-single-day until we left. We’d gladly drive up from Florida monthly to restock Absolute best cream and pastry we’ve had anywhere. Everything made in-house – you can taste the love. Oh, and they have gluten-free and nut- free options too!!
Must have’s: Honey Bourbon Pecan anything, Key Lime Pie, Chocolate Eclair, Lemon Curd hand pie, Chicken Pot Pie hand pie, Saturday Morning bread pudding… I could go on & on!! (We could’ve taken more photos but were too busy enjoying each delicious treat )
Stop by – you will not regret it.

I do not know where to begin! We just bought a house in the area this summer. I stumbled upon this bakery a couple of times but the days I was there it was closed. Finally, on a visit at the end of October—- I was delighted to find that it was open. When we walked in the warm smells let you know you have found a marvelous place!!! I am beyond thrilled to know about this wonderful place everything that we ordered was to die for! Two members of my family are vegan and we got a blueberry crumb bar for them and they were in heaven!! It is such a treat to find a place with such high-quality and commitment to fresh wholesome food. The sweets are amazing, but the little quiches were out of this world!! I am dying to get back and my first stop will be Farm to Cake!! Keep up the wonderful work!!!! Only wish I could give you a zillion stars ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️

The best pastries I’ve had in Haywood county! They are perfectly flavored, not overly sweet, the dough for all their different creations are spot on. Nothing is soggy – their handpies all do the ingredients justice such as the blueberry one tasting like ripe and delicious blueberries. Nothing is drown in sugar, the flavors are meticulously balanced and we are going to make this our weekly stop! My favorites are the eclairs, chocolate mousse stuffed cream puffs (honorable mention to the strawberry one) the pumpkin pie (the crust omg so good) and the mixed berry handpie. The pumpkin handpie is also scrumptious. My dad loves all the cookies but especially the peanut butter one. They do have loads of GF options as well! I’ve tried the GF blueberry pie bar. Would definitely get it again. As far as savory items they have a chicken pot pie handpie that my dad is obsessed with.
They sell out quickly so make sure you get there before noon if you want to marvel at the full display!

We have sampled many bakeries on our travels but this one is superb! Husband had a pastry that he said was light and airy, and we later finished the Italian raspberry cake with a frosting that was unbelievable! We will definitely be back, and we felt welcomed by Debi who took the ime out to talk with us.

Gluten free eclairs are out of this world! Haven’t tasted my other goodies yet but I will be back for more eclairs next time I’m in town! Such a nice variety of gluten free yummies. Hubby loved the regular chocolate chip cookies too!

We ordered a cake for our daughter’s graduation. We had an idea photo that they were able to replicate rather closely. Our daughter wanted strawberries added to the cake and they worked it out so that the strawberries matched up with the design of the cake. It was a very pretty cake. Great tasting cake. Loved the icing. It wasn’t overly sweet and did not leave a greasy feel in your mouth like some frostings do. While we were picking up the cake, we decided to pick up a couple of extra pastries that were available at the counter. The family loved the *end of week* bread pudding. I wouldn’t hesitate to use their services again.
