A Hidden Gem in Racine!
I stopped into Farm Fresh Cafe on Douglas Ave after shopping at Milaeger’s, and I’m so glad I did! This cozy, welcoming spot is owned and operated by the sweetest couple, and their warmth truly made my visit special.
I ordered the veggie skillet (minus the meat), and it was absolutely delicious—fresh, perfectly cooked, and full of flavor. You can tell they put genuine care into every dish they serve. I also had a coffee with my meal, but later decided to try a mocha espresso—and to my surprise, she offered it to me on the house! What a thoughtful gesture.
It’s rare to find a place where both the food and the hospitality are equally outstanding. Farm Fresh Café made an amazing first impression, I’ll definitely be back. Already sharing this gem with all my family and friends.

Great portions, fantastic service. We came for Sunday Farmer’s market. This was our first time to Milaeger’s at this location. We were told about the farmer’s market, Bloody Mary’s and food trucks. It’s last weekend in Sept. so most of the food trucks are gone inside in the back. So we came with an appetite. We looked inside in the front
and found this cafe. I had the skillet and my hubby had the breakfast burrito he couldn’t finish. My skillet meal could have served two people. Good comfort food.

My wife and I ate at the Cafe on Thursday Feb 13. we had the BLT sandwich and the Hungarian Mushroom soup. Both were simply outstanding! The flavors were out of this world. We also bought some muffins and cookies to take home — equally as good!!
