Had a wonderful time celebrating our anniversary tonight. Our server was amazing! As soon as we walked in the door we were greeted with smiles and loved the little small talk from him! Definitely made sure we were enjoying our evening. My coworker recommended it and we loved every second!

A nostalgic time capsule-this place is a gem in a sea of grayscale, sterile new restaurants that dominate the FM food scene. I love dining here and appreciate their large portions, complimentary bread loaf, and delicious salad bar with all my favorite fixings. Don’t skip the potato salad!!!!

In a dining landscape that often chases trends, Cork’n Cleaver in Fargo stands as a testament to timeless excellence. This locally loved supper club has earned its reputation the old-fashioned way—by delivering consistently delicious food in a warm, welcoming setting that feels both familiar and special.

Start your meal with their French onion soup, which is nothing short of a classic. Rich, savory broth, caramelized onions, and a thick layer of bubbling, golden cheese over crusty bread create the perfect comfort dish to ease into the evening. It’s the kind of soup that keeps regulars coming back again and again.

But the crown jewel of the menu is the filet mignon. Expertly cooked to order and always tender, it arrives with a perfectly seared crust and a melt-in-your-mouth center. Whether you’re a first-timer or a seasoned guest, the filet never disappoints—it’s a masterclass in consistency and quality.

No supper club experience would be complete without a great side, and Cork’n Cleaver’s twice-baked potatoes are legendary. Creamy, cheesy, and topped with just the right amount of seasoning, they’re everything you want from a steakhouse side dish—rich, hearty, and utterly satisfying.

With its inviting atmosphere, attentive service, and food that delivers every single time, Cork’n Cleaver is more than just a restaurant—it’s a Fargo institution. For anyone craving a meal that’s both classic and unforgettable, this is the place.

Absolutely love this place. Service and food are ALWAYS top notch in my experience. Dis their Valentine’s Day special this time. Steak was so good along with the desserts bar. The espresso martini was delicious.

A bit more speedy on drinks than I would have wanted, but otherwise amazing.

The food was delicious and the atmosphere was cozy. We got there around 1800 and the sign said they closed at 2200. We ordered our food and got our salad bar. Another couple showed up right after we ordered our meals, about 1830 and our waitress told them if they wanted salad bar they needed to get it ASAP because they were taking it down to close. We waited multiple times for drink refills because our waitress was more interested in tearing down a salad bar so they could leave 2 hours early. We then had to box up and get our desserts to go because they were shutting down the kitchen and needed to do the dishes. Our romantic celebratory dinner ended up rushed and a little sad.

Patio evening. Wine on the wonderful patio accompanied by some tasty appetizers. We ordered the breaded as well as chicken fingers and a lavosch. We ordered the half lavosch as the schrooms and fingers are always plentiful when accompied by a bottle of wine and two extra classes full. Wait staff was excellent and met our every want and need. It did begin to cloud up and spit a little rain so we moved into a more tree covered area and stayed totally dry. Always a great place to meet and relax. Addendum: June 10th 2025. Ah another relaxing early evening on the well laid out patio. Server was so attentive and friendly. Food as always was top notch. We ordered rhe same as last time but added an order of fries. Weather was good. Not windy in the evergreen forest around rhe patio on university drive. Grape vines beginning to produce fruit. Delightful refuge.

Great food and plenty of it. The server was excellent and provided everything we needed. The salad bar was the best we have ever had as were the ribs. The noise level right next to the bar was difficult for us especially with 2 hard of hearing adults.
