I’ve been ordering from Farah’s for a few months now and they officially have me hooked. I haven’t even eaten inside yet — just takeout — and in the past two weeks alone I’ve ordered about 6–7 times.
I always get the fritay platters. I’ve tried the griot, the turkey (my favorite), and recently the chicken. One time I asked for a side of fried chicken and they ended up giving me a whole extra meal — with diri djondjon, sauce, and pikliz. The portions are huge and very generous.
I’ve also tried the legume with rice and beans which was delicious, and their stewed turkey is really good too. I had the lalo once with sos pwa noir — the sauce tasted a bit burnt to me, so that wasn’t my favorite — but everything else has been consistently flavorful and satisfying.
Overall: 10/10. Definitely one of my go-to Haitian spots.

They played with me and my husbands food 3 times they They gave us legume with only bones and the seafood legume no seafood inside of it and they didnt put plantains in one of our meals after spending all the money we spent with them and them giving us scraps leftovers is crazy for the money to get that is not worth it. Please check your food before taking it home if your ordering takeout they gave us shrimp tails with no shrimp on them as if someone was digging in it

Amazing atmosphere & the food was good! While waiting for the food, my kids were playing pool and they enjoyed it. I wish they had more juice/soft drink options beside papaya juice and Lemonade/cola couronne. Other than that, it’s perfect! Love it!

The first time I bought food, it wasn’t what I was given, and when I called you, you hung up the phone on me. Today I bought another meal, and it was given to me on a plate full of dust, and the food was salty. You need to respect people. I love Hatian food and was happy to see a restaurant come so close to home. Typically we travel to Boston. I feel like the people really tried to be nice but we did have a language barrier so I am sure the issue was me. I ordered a glass of wine and the bottom of the class was dusty and dirty. I asked for chardonnay and was given mascoto. I asked for rice and beans mixed got white rice with beans on the side. When I told them they brought rice and beans that had been scorched. I told the English speaking sister that was decorating the back room and they got me black rice. Also scorched. We didn’t really feel welcomed so we packed up paid even for the food we did not eat. We tipped them and left to eat at a place we really didn’t want to support. I want to say I will go back to support but not sure. I will say that it appeared that they just did not have the flow yet because it was a new business. I wish them luck most of all. I hope this review will help them to understand that they have a bit more work to do. I wish the business well but also work to understand the community a bit better.

I was truly disappointed by my experience. I made a conscious effort to support a local business, but unfortunately, the service fell short. I politely asked the staff how long the order would take, and the response I received was unexpectedly rude—she became visibly upset and turned her back on me while I was still speaking.
Good customer service is essential, and sadly, that was not my experience here. I ultimately chose not to proceed with my order, as I didn’t feel comfortable after that interaction. While the food may be good, I cannot speak to that, because the lack of professionalism and courtesy overshadowed everything else.

Place is very cold food I’m not sure because everything I wanted to order they did not have and by the time the lady came back everyone on my table already had there food served.
