Service was good but other than that me and my best friend came to eat and we were hungry. We pretty much starred at each other the whole time cause we were to busy “not eating” cause the food was so bad. The chicken soup was almost fully disintegrated cause of how overcooked it was and the shrimp was ok…chicken was the only good thing here and the rice was also acceptable. The general Tso chicken was too sweat and too bready and soggy. Service was good tho. DO NOT RECOMMEND!

Not the best buffet ive ever been to, but for the price it was a very good value. Offers fewer food options but the lack of selection is made up by the quality of some items. Not that everything was pristine but certain items (chicken wings, ice cream, fried shrimp) were way better than they had any right to be. Wife and I went on a Tuesday night close to closing so for all I know they offer more options at other times. Would definitely recommend

One of my favorite buffets to go to. I’ve haven’t had a bad experience with this place in the 10 years that I’ve went there. The staff are very kind, they let you pay at the start so you don’t have to wait for a check, and the food is always good + Icecream! Price is also pretty reasonable for letting you eat at a buffet. Would definitely give this place a try!

Firstly…if you’ve never been here, the food is pretty good..and the staff is attentive.
When you walk in…you’re greeted and then they have you pay ahead of time..at first it seemed odd because out of ALL the buffets I’ve been to, this is the first time I’ve ever had to pay in advance; other than say Golden Corral. Once I sat down, I realized why. I’ve heard of places doing this..but it’s never been made so apparent as they do. “We will charge extra for wasted food”..so that means if you come here and want to try something for the first time and you don’t like it..or you get your favorite item and it’s cold…chances are, your card will have a second charge on it from here. That immediately gets a star away..
Service was excellent..very attentive with seeing if you want more drinks.
Parking was great because it’s in a mini strip mall.
4.1 sounds about right..I’d give higher if it wasn’t for the obvious.

This was a standard Chinese buffet located in a plaza with ample parking. We went on a Saturday for dinner and it was busy. We waited in a short line, paid, and they brought us to a booth. They had a high chair available. The waitress asked what we wanted for drinks and we were on our way with filling up our plates. They do charge for waste and excessive food left over; the signs were everywhere.
There were plenty of options to choose from. The dishes were fully stocked except for one. They had the typical Chinese American fare as well as American dishes such as fries and chicken nuggets. There were desserts, fruit, and soup. A few of my favorites were the mayo shrimp and general tso chicken. The food tasted good, hot, and fresh. I deducted a star because the waitress never came back to fill up our drinks. My water was empty for most of my dining experience; I was able to flag her down after I was done eating to ask her for more water. Other than that, it was a fulfilling and unhealthy dinner; good for once in a while occasions. I definitely was tired after eating there from all the MSG lol.

It was my first time and I was amazed at the freshness of the food. Everything was hot and fresh. Very delicious. Definitely will be back again. The prices are very reasonable compared to other buffets and again their food was so appetizing. The restaurant itself is not too big but the friendlyness and service compensate for it. I love that they also have miscellaneous stuff to buy. Over all it was a great experience.

Gotta say the fried rice here is the best I ever had some food was very stale but that’s fine it’s a buffet not everything is gonna move quickly. Service was excellent. Probably one of the cheapest buffets I been to in a awhile I definitely will be back with my kids

Been passing by this little plaza for years and never once I spotted this buffet before I’ve been waiting for a buffet to open so I can enjoy all the delicious food and this place is like a little rare diamond that I found. Food is delicious, hot,and ready to serve.

What a happy Asian Haven for Buffet , right at the head of the Silas Deane Highway.
When I walked in I was greeted by a lovely lady who asked me if I was going to dine in, or take out. I chose to peruse the food islands, and sit and indulge in all the culinary delights.
They had over 4 alleys to choose from, and plenty of variety throughout.
From shrimp and meats and skewers to vegetables and dessert, this establishment has it all and the price is super low, well under $15.
I highly recommend the Far East buffet to anyone who is traveling or wants to come from Greater Hartford for a fantastic Asian meal. Right next to Popeyes and Price right at the beginning of the Silas Deane, pull right up and walk right in !
