I had the jollof rice with fish. It was so exquisite and flavorful I found myself asking the cook could I take her home. To my disappointment she was on the phone with her husband. Not to mention they served a large portion for just $20. I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in the area.

Never had African food before so I saw this place and I was excited to try something new. I ordered the rice with lamb and it came with veggies and plantains. Rice and lamb were very good! The plantain was overcooked though I think, which I was disappointed about as I love plantain. Overall very good food

The food is pretty good, flavorful and filling. We got the plaintain fish and dry rice and fish. Definately order ahead of time as they take a bit of time to finish the order. Would go again!

Very good restaurant, we tried Egusi soup, and it was good. The service is really great. The ladies that were working there were so sweet.

Such a gem! Incredibly authentic, and our server/chef was very knowledgeable and shared some really interesting history about the dishes we were eating.

I ordered on the 10:30special when yah hungry but chineses food just isn’t the move. You want something that’s gonna touch yah soul and send you on yah way gracefully, the peanut butter soup with fufu did just that. By the time I realized I needed to write the review the food was gone sorry no pics ♀️

Ms. Fanta has the best potatoe greens, cassava leaf, Jolloff rice and peanut butter soup. The portions are enough for a few days. There are no good African restaurants in Delaware so I travel to Ms.Fanta it is worth the ride. Customer is great she is sweet and kind. I love her.

Was in the neighborhood and tried out this restaurant for lunch. The interior has a plain, no-frills appearance, but each table has a different and interesting table covering. There is also a lot of takeout business, at least for lunch, so people were coming and going but few were seated. The owner, despite being busy, was perfectly lovely and helped me pick out my meal. My guest, a vegetarian, found sufficient options on the side order menu. The food seemed pricey, even allowing for pandemic supply issues, until I saw the portions. One entree could easily serve two, possibly three. The food was delicious and fresh, prepared while you wait, nothing sitting around. It seems there are currently only one or two employees, so don’t expect fast food speed, but again, the food quality was worth the wait, both interesting and authentic. I cannot wait to eat my leftovers and will definitely go back next time I am in the neighborhood. Two final comments for the less adventuresome: 1) fish will be served with head and tail on, and 2) use the pepper sauce in the small container sparingly–it’s hot! Enjoy!
